This feature will include a part (antenna based on GPS-2 concepts) that will allow satellites with the antenna to become GPS satellites. Satellites can be launched into different orbital planes and/or orbits, but a certain minimum number of satellites must be visible at any given time to make the GPS constellation usable. The GPS constellation should determine the precise (or close to precise) location of the user. I know that there's a mod for this, but after glancing at curse, that mod has only been updated for 0.23.5. Reportedly it works for 1.0, but not the current versions. It would be great of Squad can implement this for 1.1 or future updates!

@NecroBones your tutorial about modeling a fuel tank in Blender was very helpful. Can you also do some demos on things like creating textures and animations (for engine gimbals or otherwise) in Blender and Unity? -

Delta II is broken in 1.0.5 due to collider issues. I think Kart is also working on a D4H, and he mentioned that both D4H and D2 will be added into the KSP 1.1 version. In the meantime, you can check out Chaka Monkey Exploration Systems for a "monkey" replica of the Delta IV heavy. -
The Old School Fairings mod fixed it up for me. I usually don't use the stock procedual fairings. I prefer AIES, KW, or e-dog's procedual fairings.

You mean the RD-0110/0124? The RD-117/107A is the four-chamber engine used on the boosters. -
Does the Figaro GPS mod work in 1.0.5? The thread says 1.0, but the DL says 0.23.5.

Well, in KSP the only practical application of this is a highly elliptical transfer orbit.

Back in one of the early 1.0 releases I think there was a launch tower. There should be a picture earlier in this thread that shows it. Also I think there was another mod called the real KSC in KSP that was a WIP but I don't know what happened to it. -
A mod that adds many turbofan engines based on real-life counterparts (i.e. Trent family, CFM56/CFM-LEAP, GE90) would be nice, as this allows construction of many passenger/cargo planes based off of real-life commercial and cargo jets. The Goliath turbofan in 1.0.5 is only suited for medium-heavy planes like the Stearwing A300. Having a mod like this would allow customization of planes that can carry a certain amount of cargo.

What format should I export from Blender that Unity allows? When I tried to export DAE the whole thing was flipped on its side, and .obj only allows for a certain amount of vertices in the part.

Awesome. You might want to check out this mod; it adds a really good proton replica. Fun fact: the satellite being launched (Eutelsat 9B) will carry an ultra-fast laser communications payload to collect data from satellites like Europe's Sentinel series of satellites. Also Proton dosen't explode THAT often; its mostly the third stage or the Breeze-M shutting down early, or Breeze-M stages exploding after spacecraft separation, as shown here: http://spaceflight101.com/re-entry/2015-075b-briz-m-break-up/ -
Staged it. That was how it was listed in the craft file.

Actually I think the landing legs were built for a 3.66m Falcon 9 but they work great on 3.75m rockets nonetheless.

For me I used the craft file included in the pack. I also built a proton (with Breeze) with the extended fairings and I got the same results. Also the separation motors didn't seem to fire. The side A fairing sort of slipped off.
