However I have a suggestion regarding cloud height resize - would be cool to have rescale factor for clouds height as option in main cfg, because it doesn't make sense to scale up clouds height by main multiplier Never mind, I found this post

  5. Yesterday I tried to fly helicopter with FAR and it's damn hard. It just spin out of control. Had anyone a successful experience with it? With stock aero it flies perfectly fine (if you have enough reaction wheel momentum)

  8. Makes me so sad... I had de-bloated navball with east marked green. Was so convenient... Anybody knows where navball texture is located in Squad files? I would hack it in directly, if it possible...

  11. @ShotgunNinja really like your work on Kerbalism, great job. Again, small idea to implement. How about making LES useful? I used to play with this particular mod: Unfortunately, no update for 1.1.x So the main idea is to have a chance of engine rapid overheat and explosion, only on ascent. Explosion also spreads on other parts. Also it is possible to have automatic ABORT action group activation. I think this concept will fit the scope of Kerbalism very well. I know about Test Flight, but it's too complicated for my taste.
  12. No, no And it has perfect amount of parts. No so much, each unique and fills the gaps in stock. (2 kerbal capsule, 1,875 parts, small LES, and so on...) Make sure you install this as well

  14. I would suggest nerva core + strap on side tanks. You can launch each tank separately. Like this
  15. @NathanKell, as I understand, you're maintainer of VSR, so... I think basic canards have too much lifting surface 0,65 - but it looks like it has surface smaller than for example delta winglet...

  18. I started to play this game after 1.0 release. Played all tutorials, and I have to say, they are good. May be an average player is bit stupid for this game?.. Don't know. But tutorials are descent and actually became better in 1.1 Also, after in game tutorials Scott Manley's Interstellar helped a lot, and was fun to watch. And, of cause, Kerbal Engineer Redux.

Actually there's 3 reasons at least 1) I'm playing a career in 1.0.5 with tons of mods (>100) and I really doubt I can migrate my save to 1.1.3 without many problems 2) I don't like post 7.4 EVE cloud configs, so I stuck with Better Atmospheres v5. post 7.4 EVE volumetric clouds have abysmal performance. I really love to fly my jets through very,very dense volumetric clouds... SVE just does not do it, I think because of performance issues with new EVE... 3) Adjustable Landing gear 4) Enhanced Navball 5) Rockets in VAB looks like made of cheap plastic 6) Vanguard Eject System + chutes
