You mean nobody is going back home from Mars vacation? Consider life support, heat shielding for successful Earth aerocapture... 6km/s is not that low. And faster-than-Hohmann transfer will require more dV anyway....

After watching the video, I think project is quite unrealistic even by KSP standarts. Especially all-in-one SSTO and Mars to Earth transfer spaceship... With casinos and hookers aboard And transfer for 30-60 days - non Hohmanns tranfers - what amount of delta-v this thing must have?

I'm so loving 1.2 update because it is providing a tons of features realism wise and fixes (physical DSN, G limits, comm blackouts, level up in sci lab, etc.) Ladders sliding!!! I imagine hours of pleasure assembling in orbit with KIS and KAS. I'm so exited of @SQUAD approach "By modders for modders" . and SAS. New SAS is so-o-o good!- 1,592 replies

Kerbalism has some failures as well, but neither dangit nor kerbalsm have failures on ascent with propagating explosions that actually require launch abort system to save your Kerbals.

@ShotgunNinja I've a feature request regarding crew and EVA reports. Stock mechanics (you can have multiple crew reports, but only if you hope out, grab report from capsule and store it back) are ridiculous! this mod solve the issue But AFAIK it's not updated. So I suggest you to implement this in your mod (I think it will fit your science adjustments perfectly) If you already fixed it - sorry - I was out of KSP business for some time...
