This is pretty much to be expected hen shoving many a helicopter skid onto a decoupler.

For the extra crew, you can use 6 Seat MK3. It enables the unused back seats in the MK3 pod. @Pak‘s Shuttle Lifting Body mod is pretty good too, if you wanna use that.
