  1. Thanks. I gave yours a third try and strangely, it loaded this time well. \o/ Haven't tried starting from Laythe yet, but it sounds like a great idea! Will check out Minmus Space Centre.
  2. Hope you will have the chance to get it rolling for 1.12 some day (if you happen to have that planned). I understand that it is hard work and have other things to do. Seeing that I've come to the likings of building "unnecessarily-big n heavy" ships of fandom/pop culture, it goes without saying that spawning on a Minmus moonbase feels just about right. That and the addition of distant stars. Recently tried loading this blindly with 1.12, but unfortunately, KSC remained on Kerbin, Will consider a rollback to 1.11 =). Cool mod nonetheless!
  3. Aw damn. My bad there then, too. Just loved to have lotsa-planets available in the Tracking Station. JNSQ design really looks nice <3. Guess I fell for snagging it into the GPP + GEP bunch because reasons. I feel it might be a good idea to push that disclaimer to the top of the OP (just under the JNSQ logo/screenshots) with that one line being bolded or marked yellow.
  4. I see that this is a common issue by Scatterer, but I can't for the love of it find this exact button. In KSC view, I see Scatterer's blue globe icon but none of the tabs revealed "rebuild oceans". In flight, the blue globe icon is not available in the Qbar on the right. Alt+10/11 reveals a Scatterer window, but clicking on that settings button causes nothing. Hm. Perhaps I should install an earlier version of Scatterer? Or maybe I have to just be patient until further 1.12 Scatterer updates are available. Anyways. Will head over to the Scatterer thread. Better =).
  5. I'll start there. Did a quick test where the ground was actually under the typical sea level. There was a kersplash, so it must indeed be something shader/rendering related. Guess Scatterer just might be it. Thanks :)!
  6. Hi. Bit of a visual or rendering bug going on in my sandbox test. Note that I have several mods and planet mods currently running parallel. Wasn't too sure about where to post logs as I am not sure which mod is actually producing the following issue, but maybe somebody had this before... Notable planet mods: JNSQ, GEP, (GEP_Primary & Rescale & Commnet), GPP, (GPP_Secondary) - alongside Eve, Scatter, MakeLessHistory and other goodies. Oh, and OPM . It is likely one of the planet mods might be causings. Issue: In map view, JNSQ-Kerbin looks great with oceans and all. However, when at KSC or in flight, the water is shown as solid, desert land - seen in the background. Since I'm using some ~86 mods, it is likely that one of them boiled the seas. I really want to play with these different planet mods. This bug (if it is even one) is still playable, but... you know, water is cool. Did anybody ever have an issue like this one? Before I painstakingly start the crusade for the bug.
  7. Hi. Had the first glimpses after the initial install. Looking forward to playing actively. Quick question: Is there an option of having the KSC on one of your new planets outside of the Stock system, or was it overall intentional to do the trip from Kerbin? Could've sworn there was an editable .cfg , but I'm probably confusing that with another planet pack.
  8. I just tried out EVE after a long hiatus and noticed its settings-button while at outside of the KSC. One of the options had height visible or such at "10000m". Maybe check it out and raise that number? Can't say much though. Having some issues myself with 1.12 (though mostly related to other mods). Sorry, but what was the fix? Just noticed too that Kerbin is quite the sunny ball upon leaving to the main menu (Where Jeb is on the Mun with Kerbin in the background). I have the same mods installed.
  9. Hi. Noticed your question still being kinda open for months. I don't know everything, but overall: Voice files are files from NASA and other sources, which are played backwards and speed up that gives it that Kerbal feel to it. IIRC, some clips might be in Spanish.
  10. For Kerbin airplane matters: Weather. Rain, WINDS. Gushes, younameit. Weather. Rain, WINDS. Gushes, younameit. Lights that can render out to some 30km. Or give some stock PAPI readout. More stock airports to visit and land at. Not too many. Just a few. Using said airports for some passenger minigame. Research bases to bring data to. Like in order to get some midgame research done, you have to bring it to some place on Kerbin or elsewhere in spaaaaace. More actual Kerbal space programs to compete against. Factions. Newsflash spinny paper n stuff.
  11. Bug fixes, fixing wheels and stuff like that are always nice, but if it were a final update? I'd just leave things as they are and focus more on (more buggy :D) content. Kerbal factions/nation for some kind of competition, bit of a contract/task overhaul, those kind of things. A bit more to populate Kerbin AND other planets with other space programs. Would be nice to see some other AI planes in the sky. And having KSC have some takeoffs and landings. An ATC of some sort for KSC too.
  12. I came late to the ksp scene with 1.0.2 or 1.0.5. At that time, I was playing on a notGamingLaptop. But it was fun as hell. For me though, game changer was the patch that brought 64bit. Everything got so fluent and playable. I stayed on that patch for a very long time due to the mods.
  13. Been enjoying it a lot. I can't give much feedback other than the experience with xp11 alone. Microsoft Flight Simulator X seems to have a fun rollplaying/goofball multiplayer thing going on, if you check out youtube channel Airforceproud95(not sure about the number suffix).Highly recommend his vids as they are pure comedy gold. No idea on Prepar3d. As for xp, it is damn fun. There is a learning curve. Not kerbal steep but you learn alot about how today's airliners and such navigate. And addons/mods make the game look neat-o. Has a "FAR" by default, though certainly a bit more forgiving than kerbal since you have planes already constructed appropriately. There are different planes including fanmade ones to install, like the famous f14 Tomcat. Payware (see it as dlc/paid mods made by third parties) are not needed to play the game. But I hear time and again that one should buy certain mustHaves at some point. Such as ATC ones as thr default air traffic controller can be quite drunk at times. Imo, game is worth it. Never gets boring. Always a place to fly to and scenery to dl. You don't have to dl all scenarios at once btw. Only oncr you wanna fly long distances. Just like KSP, you learn to respect the stuff. There are player-driven economy roleplay for XP, but I think MS FSX has a dlc that give you missions/contracts.
  14. This year, I had been mostly in planes and also used the airports mod for flying out to other continents I never has visited. It is cool to build and fly one's iterations of stuff. However, lately, I bought xplane11 and put my planesy interests for that game (or simulator, as game seems to a bad word for their community lol). Just sucks not to have the kerbies flying. Can't have 'em all. Kerbal is for rocketeering around after all.
