[1.4.3 <= KSP <= 1.12.5] KSP Recall - 0.5.0.2- 2024-0521
Warro replied to Lisias's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Lisias Our conversation has lead me to one thought - to check what and where was defined with prices in craft file, and it looks like I've found my 900 funds: KIS.evapropellant (dryCost = 250) and KIS.electricScrewdriver (dryCost = 650). They are in the craft without kerbal, but probably absent on recovery (no kerbal-no inventory), and maybe even on launch (I don't know when and how KIS adds inventory) I'd probably should have checked overall funds to compare, how much did the launch really costed. Will investigate further - should have checked something not only without resources, but even without inventories at all.- 633 replies

[1.4.3 <= KSP <= 1.12.5] KSP Recall - 0.5.0.2- 2024-0521
Warro replied to Lisias's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Lisias Your answer made me feel quite a bit of pain in the rear... GameData is ~6.3 Gb and loading time is way too big to check mods one-by-one... But please confirm - the behavior when KSPR add 900 funds to the 600-funds-overall detail at launch was intended by design and so can't be call a bug? I thought that it should only alter funds on recovery, not at launch. Or is this situation result of some mod interaction goes wrong?- 633 replies

@Lisias I'd not bother you if the KSPRecall was not installed. It is, KSP-Recall-0.2.0.0, but I guess something goes wrong. Sorry, I don't have GitHub account. Another attempt to share files: https://ufile.io/7vjsndpr - Ksp.log (zip) https://ufile.io/nrhhfq61 - Craft file- 633 replies

@Lisias Yes, 1523 vs 1488 is because no kerbal in the second variant. https://dropmefiles.com/DeR1t - Ksp.log (zip) - load save, launched pod end recovered immediately (1488 in editor/ 588 refund) https://dropmefiles.com/akD5E - Craft file (empty MK1 pod without kerbal)- 633 replies

Warro replied to Lisias's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Lisias I've got best result ever - this was empty pod's(1488funds in editor) instant recovery: Who stole my money? It's heavy modded install, log right now is already 28Mb (game still running). I'd better rerun short test with just launch-instarecovery, but that needs some time :) P.S. By the way - it was just the same pod like on screenshot before, just without Jeb that time, but the price changed - 1488 vs 1523 before. How and why?!?- 633 replies

Is it normal? That price in menu and the sum in editor differs in more than 900 Funds (when recovered from launchpad it displays 900 Refund resource in it) I thought KSPR should save my money, not move them there and back- 633 replies

totm may 2024 [1.12.x] - Modular Kolonization System (MKS)
Warro replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm not complaining by any means that no one ready to do some work for me. I just mentioned RoverDude answer to show that I've heard it and that's OK. If RD is busy with 1.4 development - so be it, I guess that's more important, than features of mod. -

Warro replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I've already did "feature request" on the forum, the answer was "no time for that now". Do you think feature request (that's not the issue, really) exactly on GH will magically give author more time? I guess no. I'm still in this topic just to wonder, am I the only one interested in such feature? If so - no sense to do request on GH. -
totm may 2024 [1.12.x] - Modular Kolonization System (MKS)
Warro replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I've already registered on Unity site when I wanted to try model export-import chain. So it now spams my mail with suggestions to make own Unity app, thinking it's not hard too I'm not a programmer nor modeller, although I have couple of times compiled mods from existing sources and even have sucсesseful imported own blender models (I'd better not show them to anyone), I do not understand that stuff enough to do something for public use. -

I'm not GitHub user, so pull request is "the chunk of work I'm not ready now" also... I would be grateful if someone formed the right request based on my proposal. -
totm may 2024 [1.12.x] - Modular Kolonization System (MKS)
Warro replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
But the list is the missing option, classes/costs are manageble as is. Without random list it looks more like interface to cheat-menu "spawn kerbal" function in-game. It breaks career-feeling a bit... Is list management too hard to implement with all class/cost options? While lookind through one of saves I've seen that KSP still has the list, it's just hidden from player. That makes me sad even more - there are kerbals, willing to participate, but I have no way to hire them. -

Warro replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm still using 1.3 KSP with MKS 52.2, but can't find combination of options to keep stock list, only TRP with MKS classes/TRP with stock classes (plus cost control) -

Warro replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@RoverDude - Is it possible to keep stock hiring list AND that TRP-alike implimentation at the same time? I'd prefer kerbal hire customisation as an option, maybe even with delay, so you will have an option between "choose from avaliable " or "post vacancy with special requirements and wait for your perfect_fit volunteer". -
My friend with Canon EOS 550D shot them and sent to me, I cropped them a bit in Irfanview and uploaded(Imgur refuses to load originals but I still have them if anyone interested). But the planes themselves have flown above us in 2015 IIRC, that was "9-th of May" parade or it's rehearsal. EDIT: Found the video with all of them above Red Square (Helis didn't fly above us, only planes did)

[1.2-1.7] Blender (2.83+) .mu import/export addon
Warro replied to taniwha's topic in KSP1 Tools and Applications
@taniwha - I've got a problem with your im/exporter. I have updated old version (probably 1.0.0) to GIT version, but some models which old version had import fine, new throw errors, leaving model half-imported. To be honest, one error exists in both cases: but model hierarchy (stock small landing gear) with old importer looks fine: but new version fails: -
@RealGecko have you actually fly crafts with KRX parts? You'll probably get more errors In my case Firespitter was spamming NRE about FSplanePropellerSpinner module, i've modified module in configs like this (example from sparrow rotor): This solves the problem for me. I'm not sure if it's the right way, but it works Maybe @Eskandare will tell better.

@HaArLiNsH - I've got a bug in TRR v0.4+KIS/KAS (KSP 1.3 still because if mods). When kerbal grabs winch head, it becomes invisible: With Rangemachine's version (for 1.3) there is no such bug. Don't know if it's still happening in 1.3.1 and TRR 0.5 .... EDIT: it becomes visible again if i switch to EVA suit.
-
For @TMasterson5 - why not use Firespitter texture switcher? I've made small pack from your's #8 zip (just small boats and their stuff) which uses only 2 texture files for the whole parts. Here is example config of SmallBoat2 hull (I moved .mu files and textures to "Assets folder), my changes are coloured in green: The most troublesome part was to find all objects for texture switcher("objectNames ="), but now it works like a charm...

What's so special in this build? Maybe Airplane Plus will fit?

@inigma: I've got this problem too. In my case this was AtmosfereAutopilot incompartability (Issue #202 on Github), I guess, in @Vrana case there is something similar - one of the mod has changed PartModules to something not included in contract checks.

Sorry, my bad, as I remember, core had common assets and few bases, other packs contained additional assets and more configs. So my memory fails me or something changed since then. With KerbinCity it looks like the same collider issue of model itself, not only outdated config. Plus, the whole project (it was COMMUNITY project, if you read description in old thread, btw) stopped to develop in the middle of building, so there are empty lots, unfinished bridges, etc. So there is need to dig in model itself, I guess. But if it's not too troublesome to have KK more backward compatible with old configs - that can't hurt.

I didn't say YOU should include original .cfg, read carefully, please. There is no "assets_only" download (the bundled bases configs will be in the pack, which you will link as prerequisite), so for modified bases you should somehow deal with original .cfg's. Not an issue, if you want to add new base, but you'll get all bases, bundled with needed pack, as a bonus, which you can't refuse. If you're confident with intellectual property, tell me, what's the point of having strict license for non-commercial content?
