So, what do you think about it? Anyone who wants to help me can apply to be a judge via PM or comment, so if enough people like the idea, I will post it the challenge thread.

I got you. However I don't know how safe adding multiple asteroids to a klaw structure is.

In my Career save, hiring another Kerbal is now well over half a million funds each, and it goes up with each new hire. I've had plenty more in early sandbox games, especially back in the 0.19 - .23 timeframe when I basically considered them expendable crash-fodder.

I accept your challenge sir. I am going to get very used to orbital rendevous.

Check the IVA views and note that like 60% of all drawers are full of snacks ...

So 'only' is a strange word to use in combination with 'on board snacks' on any Kerbal vehicle, it's not like a cheap airline

So? Jeb is a hungry astronaut.

I think there are (or were, in past versions), a couple of other "Easter egg" type kerbals with the BadS flag - basically a handful of hard-coded guys you'd get randomly as your game goes on with stats and names honoring a few real-life astronauts. I don't know it they're still in the game, however.

For what it's worth, I just opened my current Career persistence file and searched for "BadS." In addition to Jeb and Val, I found several others with the flag set as True: Aldlan, Lubald, Stauna, and Danlian (Yes, I have a lot of kerbals in my game right now!)

phhhh. I have to get 500 kerbals for a challenge I'm doing. Every day is a bunch of rescue contracts. I think I'm around 60 now

  5. As a first timer a good setup is a mk1 command pod with a flt-400 fuel tank and a terrier engine. Of course you'd want landing gear solar panels and batteries and other logistical things. If you are using any mods that give you delta-v readouts try to have around 7,900. This is a lot more than you need but extra fuel is always good. And I feel your pain, my first mun landing was on a canyon wall and Jeb got stranded... as did the rescue craft... and that craft. But now I can land some pretty insane things on the mun and bring them back if I want. Just keep trying and you'll get it soon.

  6. The Jool-500

So for anyone that cares this will be my report of the this amazing challenge so I don't have to spam the challenge thread and annoy everyone. But here is what I hope to accomplish in my future/completed episodes:

Episode 1: Comms network around Kerbin+rescue some people YouTube video link

Episode 2: Comms networks around Mun and Minmus+ science from both of them

Episode 3: Closed loop life support testing+ other logistical testing

Episode 4: First trip to with a Laythe base and lots of comms satellites

Episode 5: Sending an absolute load of people to the system with at least one base per moon

Episode 6: Finishing up loose ends and making sure everywhere has a solid connection back to Kerbin

Episode 7: Maybe send an army to Laythe to patrol for the Kracken?

I will be realativly active with this series and a lot more once school and sports go away for the summer (Finals week is soon so that'll be rough). Anyway that's more or less all I have to say.If you have an idea of how I can improve or something you want to see then post it here or in a comment on the video itself! And if you want to not miss an episode subscribe but be forewarned these are not the only videos I do! Thanks for your time and I hope you get at least mildly entertained.

Here is the first video :)

@Jhawk1099 Actually I didn't mean to steal it, I had that idea long ago before I knew of the other one. Then I searched and found jetski's one too limited

Anyways, I almost forgot this thread now I also have an english series of space engineers running :P

So... pictures and stations will be added tomorrow when I have a bit of spare time.

@Kuansenhama Multiple modules allowed, but not like 30 single part modules.

Is English not your native language?

We have this going now in the Challenges thread, feel free to grab the savegame and take a look at what people have built. Or join in and launch a module of your own!

Such a courteous response from a pirate who had an idea stolen . Anyway @Shikashi perhaps upload a picture of the station or a link to a .sfs file where we can look at it and plan our modules accordingly. Also making it to where the community could add their own modules on their own would maybe make this more successful. Best of luck with your station!

@MarkoeZ, man that is a great scout ship!  We definitely need to send it ahead to check out the system.  Someone needs to add a power generating module and we can send it on its way!   @JebsDead, a fuel section would be fine, maybe not a class E unless you're sure you can get it and dock it to the station without ending life as we know it.  *snip*

I could fly up some solar panels and KAS them onto the scout ship
