  1. To be honest, I would be extremely happy if you could make just the 2m to 2m version, since that is the situation in which I have to use struts the most...
  2. Hi there. I originally asked this in DYJ's Procedural wing thread, but seeing what you have done with struts tells me that you might be able to help me. What I would like is a part that that acts just like the EAS-4 Strut Connector (connecting two stages to increase structural stability and reduce wobble) but looks like a fairing piece so it can be placed in 2, 3 or 4x symmetry. This is a mockup I made using DYJ's Procedural wings as an example: Currently, all fairings connect only to a single stage, doing nothing structurally and frequently the engines and other parts that are underneath the fairing will clip through it if the rocket starts to wobble wildly, which does not look very nice... The only other solution is to use both fairings AND struts, which complicates the design and placement of parts... Basically, I am asking if it is possible to make a strut connector that looks kinda like one of the fairing pieces shown here: Of course, different variations might be needed to cover all possible combinations 1m to 1m parts, 2m to 2m, 1m to 2m etc... Is that even possible?
  3. With two xenon tanks each? Heck, you could probably get them from Kerbin to Jool by themselves.
  4. Yes, the first burn is made at the first Delta-V. In a perfectly circular orbit there is no apoapsis or periapsis, or if you want to look at it that way, ANY point of the orbit is the apoapsis AND periapsis simultaneously. Yes, this is the second burn that circularizes your orbit to match the red line. If you do not perform that second burn, your ship will continue to follow the yellow dashed line of the elliptical transfer orbit and fall back towards the fist, green orbit...
  5. A question for DYJ: Would it be possible to make a part that acts just like the EAS-4 Strut Connector (connecting two stages to increase structural stability and reduce wobble) that can be procedurally stretched and curved to (at least visually if not aerodynamically) appear like a custom fairing? (Please excuse my poor attempt at making mockups) Currently, all fairings connect only to a single stage, doing nothing structurally and frequently the engines and other parts that are underneath the fairing will clip through it if the rocket starts to wobble wildly, which does not look very nice...

  7. You can do something along these lines: It looks ugly unless you use custom fairings, but it gets the job done... See this video for instructions on how to place multiple engines onto a large tank:

  13. Have you tried lowering the ocean surface detail as described here? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/32366-Lowest-settings-cfg-in-0-20 This helps if you get relatively decent performance when out in space, but really low fps when launching from Kerbin.

  19. Pa mislio sam da mi ovo sluzi kao refueling stanica, ali ako bih sve raskacio i povezao u jednu liniju mogao bih da dodam par motora iza velikog sfericnog rezervoara...
  20. Love the new tanks. Just a small suggestion: Could you also make a version of the small tank with 1.25m-sized connection points? Anything I build with the small fuel tank looks strange, and (at least to me) it appears a bit big to use with small probe parts.
