Right, here's my entry, the Fasty McGoFast. I don't know how to post albums so here's the link.
Top speed = 1,439 m/s
Highest G-force endured = 43.6 G's (I would have pushed it harder if it wasn't for 1.2's new G-force limits)
Parts = 38
Cheats used = None!
So the scoring should be as follows (I think
)
1,439 points (for top speed) + 43.6 (for max G-force) + 5 points (for no cheats - you did say that, right?)
=
1,487.6 points
(If I'm not mistaken
)

I'm assuming that the 2.5m parts have not been revamped yet, as they don't show up in the mod?

Yes, but I meant in the "mod".
Only the 1.25m parts have been changed, even though the diagram shows the 2.5m and 3.75m stuff redesigned as well. Or maybe the bigger parts are going to be revamped in the future?EDIT: Never mind I just read your reply properly

Are porkjet's rocket part overhauls just for the 1.25m category? I only get the new 1.25m engines and tanks, but I saw a drawing somewhere where some of the 2.5m engines were also redesigned.

And yes she does have working bomb-bay doors, but I need more powerful engines to be able to carry a bomb payload!

@DMSP Here's a (mostly) Tantares geostationary comsat I threw together rather quickly. It weighs about 1.6 tons, hopefully you can launch those weights.

Also, how are you going to score entries? By speed, maneuverability, or everything in general? I'll probably try this tomorrow.

Well, I established a comm network in 1.2 and also got a chapter done in KSP Megastructures.
I also messed around with the new alt-f12 menu. I really like crushing kerbals with 10 gee's of gravity.

Yeah I've messed around with that, but it's really confusing. I'll have to mess around with it more. Or do you have any ideas? In particular, to slide the sliders left or right to achieve the goal. I'm not really sure.

Something I don't like is that the signals from ground stations go through the ground. Is there any way I can change that so they can't go through the ground at all?

@HamnavoePer It can be VTOL but must take off horizontally? Could you clarify please? I'm thinking you mean a plane that can take off horizontally OR vertically, but I'm not really sure.
