Why? If the crew eject safely, it shouldn’t matter if the vehicle cannot sustain flight for very long.

Rage, rage against the dying of the...err...sandwich? @GRS

I vaguely remember some forumers doing this in the olden days of the forum, but I don’t remember the name of the thread or who was doing it.

Remove The Not_Rockomax Micronode
Ozymandias_the_Goat replied to Aeroboi's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Exactly, before I read this thread, I had forgotten than this part even existed, and lost no sleep over its deficiencies. I don’t plan to use it in the future myself, but I have at least opened my mind to the possibility. -
Truly, the Jool system is the only place that I am not bored of going (in the stock solar system). Two of the five moons are certified not boring, doing a Jool-5 mission is still somewhat difficult (for me at least!), and just in general, everything is bigger there. Jool is probably one of the least problematic features of the game, although it does pale in contrast to OPM and other superb planet packs, which truly make the game a pleasure.

Chancellor Palpatine, steak tartare is our speciality. Really though, when do my fancy ball bearings arrive from eBay’s floral department. -
2: Make use of redundant systems to ensure that your rocket (or forum thread, for that matter) is not broken by a series of foolish errors. 3: Bold some words, so that people know that they are really important. 4: Keep count

Also try this one: I believe that it is one of the lowest RAM use packs: Though designed for v1.2, I run it fine on 1.6

Would you like to make this a collect call? @Lo Var Lachland

I thought this thread was banned aeons ago. Petition to rename this thread to “Philosophical discussions and a metacognitive analysis on the implications of clicking the “don’t click this” button. Also @Triop

Silly question, wiki answers it easily. -

I was wondering if anybody knows of relatively flat regions on Duna which are optimzied for the landing of tall, large objects ( Starship clones ). I simply noticed that wherever I landed on Duna, the terrain is hilly, and things risk tipping over upon landing. Preferably, I would like them within 5-10 degrees of the equator, if anybody knows of such locations.

Jettison Resources Please!!!
Ozymandias_the_Goat replied to g00bd0g's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I believe Hyperedit (naughty word!) has a feature to change the resource content of a vessel. It’s convenient, but then again... it’s cheating -
Unfortunately, this requires axial tilt, which is not a feature in the stock game. As for weather, mods such as EVE add moving cloud systems (although they are really just backdrop) and there is no adverse weather, which is what makes “weather” interesting. The suggestions that you give, though, I certainly like, and I am certain that many other players share my opinion.
