  3. Chapter 1 - Testing 123 As the Athena I-X Launch Vehicle stands on LC-39B, The SRB is shown partially, In 6 Hours, This is where History will be made and thrive The Mission was VERY Uneventful with the fact that the Only Operational stage was the SRB. haha les go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Next was the Athena I-Y Mission which will test the LES in a Max-Q Situation Athena I-Y is an IFAT Mission, Next Mission after this will be EFT-1 then Crux 1 LES go brrrrrrrrr Thats the end for Chapter 1!
  4. Prologue After Years of the Space Shuttle, The Lyra Program is Announced to Send Humans to the Moon and Mars, Utilizing 2 Launch Vehicles, The Athena 1 and Athena V The HLV, Athena V Uses 5 Mainsail Engines alongside 2 SRBs on the Side for the First Stage, The Second Stage (EDS) Uses 1 UR-2x Engine for EOI and TLI. The Athena I uses a Single SRB for its First Stage and A U2x for the Second Stage, It carries the Crux Crew Capsule into LEO for ISS Missions or Pegasus Missions The First Crew for Crux-CDM has been Named however, The Commander is Ralph Cook, Pilot is Henry Ross, Due to the Fact Crux-CDM is a Test Flight it will only have 2 Crew Members of the 3 that it can Fit Crew Picture
  5. The Lyra Program - KSPs Constellation After the 2 Failed MRs, I am finally going to plan to actually do one Successfully, This Takes Inspirations from @borisperrons, @Jay The Amazing Toaster, @Clamp-o-Trons Constellation Program Saves, I am going to be Following the Constellation Program Architecture and might try a Few Other Proposed Missions (Skylab II, DST, Mars Base Camp, ARM) etc etc, Main Mods are - KSRSS, Restock, Restock+, TweakScale, HumanStuff, KerbalRenamer and Tundra Exploration. Index This Post Prologue Chapter 1 Chapter 2 News 1 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5 News 2 Chapter 6 Chapter 7 Chapter 8 Chapter 9 Chapter 10 Chapter 11
  6. I have another plan soon for a new MR but it might be a while.
  7. Why does the KSRSS Install Checker say i dont have KSRSSVE-Textures installed when i do?
  8. Are we sure Orion 1 wouldn't of been unmanned?
  9. nothing in bin also.. welp, im probably just going to suck it up and do a new save.
  10. All of my saves just went gone, I was working on a duna mission then boom, its gone. nothing in recycling absolutely nothing.
  11. it happened again... somehow my saves are all gone, i'll see what i can do.
  12. KLHM- 2023 Mission Purpose - Launch the KLHM into an Eccentric Polar Orbit around the Mun. Mission Duration - 5 Hours until MOI "And The Ghidorah Heavy Takes Off, Beginning the Kerbal States's Habitation of the Mun." The Ghidorah Heavy Is being Utilized for Gigan XL Missions and Launching the MCLP for Northrop Krumman (Munar Crewed Logistics Platform) for Artemis Missions The Fuel Tank on the Top was used for MOI Fuel, The KLHM had Crew Capacity for 6 but was currently Unmanned. haha merlin go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr The Orbit Parameters were 15x930km and 83 degrees Inclination with an Orbital Period of 3h. Soon the EPM will dock to Supply More Power n Stuff.
  13. Pretty Simple with what i say, slap some 1.8m tanks on a science lab (mobile lab), slap on some thuds, communotron, cupola on both ends and you got yourself a base
  14. Artemis 1 - 2021 Mission Purpose - Verify the KLS and Orion for Munar Travel Mission Duration - 32d, 5h, 4m and 42s Liftoff Date - 24/11/21 (DD/MM/YY) Landing Date - 26/12/21 Details - On the 24th of November 2021, The KLS Block I Rocketed to Life on LC 39b Lifting The Uncrewed Orion Capsule "Excellence" to the Mun The KLS Block I Consists of the Core Stage, 2 SRBS and the IKPS (Interim Kryogenic Propulsion Stage), The Block I will be Launching A1 - 3. The Next Version of the KLS, Block IB is due to Launch in 2025 Launching a Duna Probe for its Test Flight, The Probe is the Duna Polar Lander2 The IKPS is derived from the DCSS used to Launch the Delta IV Heavy which Launched EFT-1, Giving Artemis 1 the Informal Designation of EFT-2 (Exploration Flight Test-2). The Kartemis/Artemis Missions were Previously known as EM (Exploration Mission.) Luckily with new Funding the EM's became Artemis. The Orion Capsule for this mission is "Excellence." Excellence is due to Fly A3 and A7 also, The Next Orion "Intrepid" is due for A2, A5, A10 and Possible Crewed Duna Missions. Orion Capsules have a 15 Year Lifespan if kept in Condition. MOI was done with the KJ-10 Engine, The Orion is Expected to Handle MOI and KR (Kerbin Return) on the KJ-10. 31 Days Later the Orion Capsule Lit the KJ-10 Engine to Kerbin to Return, Kerbin Periapsis was set as 18km to Avoid Burning Up and Skipping off the Atmosphere. After Service Module Sep the Capsule Enters the Atmosphere at 3km/s, During this phase I realize that I Pressed the Wrong Action Group and Cut the Drogues..... Parachute Opening was Amazing and Performed well even without Drogues, Unfortunately Drogues are needed for Crewed Missions because the Orion Touched down at 6.8m/s Orion Touchdown was Celebrated throughout NASA as the New Journey to the Mun Began. Next Mission is the KLHM Launching on the Ghidorah Heavy (Munar)
  15. Today is 2 Missions, KLHM and Artemis 1! I will try my best to do half decent mission reports but yeah... Anyway Crew Assignments for Artemis 2 & 3 are as follows Artemis 2 Commander Bill Kerman Pilot Siggel Kerman Flight Engineer Camgar Kerman Artemis 3 Commander Jebediah Kerman Pilot Valentina Kerman Flight Engineer Bob Kerman Standard Crew Rotation Places the A2 Backup Crew on A5 and A3 on A6. Backup Crew Will be announced on Report.
  16. CAPSTONE Mission Name: CAPSTONE Mission Purpose: To Test the Munar Gateway Orbit Liftoff Time - 13:27 EDT - 13th March 2021 At Approximately 13:00 EDT, An Electron Launching from Kallops Flight Facility carrying the CAPSTONE Payload Lifted off from KFF The Initial Orbit was an 85X85 Until TMI done by the Second Stage, The Maneuver placed CAPSTONE into a 14km Polar Trajectory. This Placed the CAPSTONE Payload into a 14X16 Polar Orbit, Later above the North Pole, The Kickstage Engine Fired Placing Capstone in a 44x1445 Orbit. The Mission was a Success
  17. During the 2010s/2020s, Interest in space grew due to SpaceK's Ghidorah 9 Rocket and its Reusability, with new Public Pressure. KASA Announces a New Crewed Mun/Minmus Landing Program: Kartemis Program, Using the KLS Rocket and Commercial Providers, It finally looks like KASA will head back to the Mun and Minmus, Especially with Acapello 14 being the Only Crewed Minmus Mission. It also Came along with a Promise to Land People on Duna before 2033. This Save will Involve Unmanned Interplanetary Missions, Crewed Mun and Minmus Missions and a Crewed Duna Mission at the End, The Main Inspiration was @ShuttleHugger's STS Save, Only Mods is Tundra Exploration and Conformal Decals for Parts (I use 1.9.1). Missions so Far Planned are CAPSTONE - March 2021 Artemis 1 - 24th November 2021 - 26th December 2021 Ghidorah Heavy: KLHM (Kerbal Living and Habitation Module) (6th of April 2023) Artemis 2 - 16th August 2023 - 26th August 2023 Vulkan-Kentaur: EPM (Electrical Propulsion module) - 18th of November 2023 Aliyana 6: MLRS (Munar Logistics and Refueling Section) - June 26th 2024 Artemis 3 - 21st October 2024 - 31st November 2024 Artemis 4 - 25th April 2025 - 3rd June 2025 (Planning for More)
