  1. That's exactly it MooseCannon, please try again in a few minutes
  2. It had to be pushed back Dilir, sorry.
  3. Someone needs to try holding down the mod key
  4. Settings.cfg had to be nuked, just reset your resolution
  5. Oh I see why now, the link you gave goes to an old thread that was archived :/ The old Linux thread should not be in the archives though, I'll see about making the archives readable.
  6. They aren't too hard thankfully There's a tab in the editor (VAB, SPH) near the craft name box, between the Parts tab and the Crew tab, that tab is for the action groups. Click it and you'll see three columns on the left , then click a part of your craft that has context menu options such as a light. The left column lets you select a number key (Custom01 is key 1, use that for now) or another control, the right column shows the light and its options, when you click an option it moves to the center column, it will now be activated when you press 1. You can add as many things as you like to a single button this way, for example it makes opening loads of solar panels much easier
  7. Hmmm, they still work but they go to the now-closed original Linux thread. Or at least they worked for me just now, does anyone else have trouble with them?
  8. Which links? The only ones under the second code box in the second post are in my signature.
  9. This thread is really close to this rule guys, speculation is fine but it's best to wait for an official announcement, and Commissioner Tadpole is right, this looks too official. I'm going to edit the title
  10. Great thread lajoswinkler, congrats, you've been stickied
  11. UpsilonAerospace, these tunes are great, so I've stuck this for October
  12. Great stuff here HatBat, stickied for October
  13. I think this is going to do well, so I've stuck it for october, congrats 1greywind
  14. Good stuff mhoram, stickied
  15. Wow, can't believe I missed this, but in my defence it's all Kaspers fault for making me watch youtube vids -------------------- We have a few threads for your perusal this month, starting in General Discussion with TheNerdyOne_ and his quest to get a Lego Kerbal X, his mock up is pretty impressive, can you help him reach his goal? -------------------- Confuse by KSP's physics? I am but that's because all physics confuse me, don't be like me and educate yourself with mhoram's "The Physics of KSP". In his own words: -------------------- This TOTM's challenge is very new, it was only posted yesterday, but it definitely deserves a look due to the effort 1greywind put into building the track for the Zero-G RCS Race!. How fast can you get round? -------------------- To the Spacecraft Exchange now and we look at Hatbat's thread on military vehicles, looks like any goes as long as it's warlike -------------------- KSP's tunes are nice, but they could be better, UpsilonAerospace treats our ears to some new themes that really should be in the game, have a listen! -------------------- Finally we have lajoswinkler in the Science Labs, with his project to send a Jeb figurine into stratosphere. How hard can rocket science be anyway?
  16. Hmm, maybe I'll keep this in my patch a bit longer, but I do ask that people don't drag this off of the subject of mod management for KSP.
  17. There's no need to be like that Thourion, of course there will be discussion of other mod managers, comparisons have to be drawn from somewhere. I think this thread is a little off topic for GD now though, it should really be in Addon Affairs. Moving
  18. Welcome to the forums Yoda Soda
  19. Pretty sure someone could make one that doesn't require it...
  20. I definitely support a non-Steam addon manager, preferably one that is able to fetch addons for you from the appropriate sources so they are always up-to-date, it'd need a list of known/supported addons for this. It'd then be possible to make addon collections for the manager, for example if you want improved realism in KSP you could select the realism collection and it'd only install the addons from that list, with individual addons being de-selectable should you wish to omit any. Other features such as addon removal should be a given, the whole thing should be a painless to use as possible and work for all players, whether they use Steam, the store copy and on all supported platforms
  21. Imgur has been playing up for me for a few weeks now, galleries not loading, can't upload pics, that sort of stuff :/
