  1. Well the Demo is pretty limited, land on Mun, return, land on Mun, return, Hmm I'll land somewhere else on Mun, return.....
  2. Hi DaGinger, welcome to the community It might be best to ask in the respective threads, in case others have had the same issue, or even search those threads for your problem to see if it has come up. If you think the two mods may be interfering, try removing Powertech and see if that helps.
  3. I think you are jumping to conclusions nhnifong, and could get people overexcited over nothing, there are a lot of reasons why the site is slow, not least of which might be your own ISP. Kerbalspaceprogram.com has been fine for me. I think to prevent any unwarranted speculation, this thread had better be closed, sorry nhnifong.
  4. DimethylMercury, you should check the new Blogs, HarvesteR himself has been quite active, also you must be aware that creating a game such as KSP takes a lot of effort so there is often not much time for Squad to socialize as much as they'd like to Another thing, you are a Curious George, you will be upgraded to Bottle Rocketeer after your 5th post, this is a basic anti-spam measure and all new members have to go through it. One last point, discussions such as this are off-topic and potentially derailing, and are not suited to this thread.
  5. Apoapsis and Periapsis are the official terms, though my spellchecker hates them both
  6. Hi Vocosol, welcome to the community The alpha is definitely worth it, there is so much more to it than the demo, and there will be a lot more in the next update
  7. There are a lot of add-ons for KSP, and mostly they work together, try looking here and here Also, you are a Curious George until after your 5th post, when you will become a Bottle Rocketeer, this is a basic anti-spam measure, don't worry about it.
  8. Except it's not a Challenge, it's a novel observation, Fuzzy Dunlop could make it a Challenge though
  9. Hi Dio, welcome to the community It's always good when people turn their hand to add-on development, the range of mods people have made is eye opening, here's some of my favorites: Tosh's Cart Romfarer's Lazor And everyones favorite autopilot, MechJeb
  10. Hi rooivalk, welcome to the community In KSP, you can steer by eye and fly by the seat of your pants if you want to, but if it inspires you to learn a bit about orbital mechanics then that's a good thing
  11. Hi Ernst Eckert and welcome to the community Pretty impressive gallery Ernst Eckert, I'm impressed, I'll give you a hint though, run the struts from the pod to the ASAS, as this prevents the ASAS popping off when the chutes open, in their current configuration KSP will check for detachment forces before checking for struts, meaning your Kerbals will fall to their doom.
  12. Hi The Stinger, welcome to the community KSP is great isn't it? There's nothing else quite like it and it calls to our inner astronauts
  13. Hi Cowzgomooz, welcome to the community Not sure what to suggest unless you tell me what you are stuck on, hmmm, random tip? You don't need a huge rocket to get to the Mun
  14. Hi 1337patchy, welcome to the add-on community Don't forget you'll need to supply a license with your add-on (when it's available) and the source code as well. Also something like this has been attempted before, the Kessler mod is very similar to this.
  15. Hi mols14, source code is the code that was compiled to make the plugin used by the add-on
  16. Hi winged_wolf, the tricoupler is fuel crossfeed capable, so an engine will use fuel from above, but a decoupler is not capable of transferring fuel anymore (it could in the demo) so you will need to connect a fuel line from a tank to the decoupler, allowing fuel to then flow through it
  17. Hi Rocket_man, now you are up to 5 posts, you will soonn be upgraded to a Bottle Rocketer, and you will be able to edit your profile, you just need to wait for the vBulletin script to run and automatically update you
  18. Sorry for the misunderstanding TwiggyShip, and yes that will help, It's morning over the pond so hopefully you'll receive a response by our morning.
  19. Yeah I got it wrong again, there were two html\\'s but both work now. Anyway what you need to do is this: At KerbalSpaceProgram.com, click Store, then login to your account. Click on Profile, scroll down to the bottom, click Download. Choose the KSP that suits your OS
  20. Okay I think I fixed it, how strange, here it is again just in case How to download from the KSP store.
  21. Hello TwiggyShip, welcome to the community, the download link should be fine, make sure you are looking in the right place I just tried it myself and it seems to be working, so give that button another click and make yourself a cuppa while it downloads
  22. Just remember you can re-record the audio if you mess up, maybe make a rough script first so you aren't having to think what to say next, and relax
  23. Hi carlmora18 and welcome to the community There are a lot of people here just like yourself, and we'd all be interested in seeing your vids,
  24. Do any other plugins work for you? Are you running KSP from the desktop? If you are, KSP and the plugins will not be able to write to the directory where they are installed, causing lots of problems like this one. Unzip KSP to a non-windows made folder, such as C:\Games, and install MechJeb there, do not move your current KSP folder as it may already be damaged.
  25. They should work then, if they are the most up to date, you may have to delete all those files you installed and reinstall afresh.
