  1. Heelo to you, angrysheep, welcome to the community
  2. Hi Dinosaur_McGinley, welcome to the community You can have any space ship you want in KSP, if you can build it
  3. Hi hallothere, welcome to the community It sounds like you are flying straight out of the system, try to get some orbits under your belt, it'll make things a lot easier for you, and you can try the Engineer add-on for ship stats, it's getting a little old now but still mostly works. There's no way to get the orbit lines in the flight scene normally, but there is a bug where they can remain visible after switching back from the map, it's not very useful though as it's not easy to reproduce and the lines just point off into the distance
  4. You really should ask this stuff in the respective thread, but try deleting your MechJeb.cfg in KSP_win/PluginData/mumechlib
  5. Hi TOMANDANDY, welcome to the community, don't worry there's a lot of people here who will try to help First thing I can do though is this, you seem to be trying to fly straight towards the Mun, unfortunately this won't work, you are trying to run before you can walk, or orbit in your case. Ships in space don't move like you expect, everything will orbit something else, it'll fly in a circle around it, and by learning about orbiting you'll be able to progress to getting to the Mun. Take a look here, there is a lot of info, and here about orbiting, once you are in an orbit you can then work on changing your orbit so it will intercept the Mun, then you have to get into an orbit around the Mun. It's all about orbits, once you figure that out KSP becomes a lot easier
  6. I think you are right dishycourier Thread closed.
  7. It won't be released while people ask about the release date, every request adds one day to the date No more speculation okay people, or you'll have to start version 3 of this thread.
  8. Release speculation will get the thread locked, plus, Friday releases are banned thanks to the furor last time.
  9. Hi sYn, this might be useful to you, oh and welcome to the community
  10. Nice first post ZakDuer, welcome to the community You have a good voice in your video, and some real skill with craft making, keep up the good work
  11. Well jonathan_92, a lot of things aren't so much forbidden as just suggested to death and then revived only to be suggested to death again, this thread might be interesting for people though, so I have moved it to it's proper home in Off-Topic
  12. Hi snckrz, welcome to the community I think you might be interested in this
  13. Close, so close, but as long as people don't actually start asking that question you're okay
  14. Hi GrimJr789, welcome to the community I tried to find you a decent vid of the N1 going bang but it seems it's hard to find (for me anyway), you can aways simulate it in KSP though, it wouldn't be hard
  15. From the Rules... Signature limits: No taller than 80 pixels, text+image included. No greater than 750 pixels wide. No larger than 200kb in total size. So I agree with Nutt007, that signature is far too large for the KSP forums, please remove it princess venus.
  16. Hi Perihelion, welcome to the community You can see what is coming up in this thread, though no English style fog and rain yet to help us feel more at home, but at least with the new planets we can do re-enactments of the Beagle landing, don't forget to not open the parachute
  17. Welcome to the community johnb210 Wow, orbit on your first go? It took me a while, I had no idea what I was doing
  18. This is a pretty old thread Spearka though I know it's yours, I suggest you begin a new Mk2 thread and see how much interest you get, you can always link to this thread within the new one
  19. Hi faelcks, welcome to the community The good captain has already pointed out a few good mods you can try, also it's possible to fake a station with stock parts, the new long ladders can be used as ersatz solar panels for instance, and landing legs make nifty antennas. Currently there is no docking, so attaching a craft to a station is undertaken using landing legs or claws of some kind to grab and hold on.
  20. Hi GeotheArch, welcome to the community I'm looking forwards to reading your stuff, plus good luck on rescuing Jedfel, you can send a 3 Kerbal pod with 1 empty seat, or you could try the crewtank.
  21. Hi staf7, welcome to the community I think you'll find that F1 will take a screenshot, while F2 will hide the UI, you can find a list of controls here.
  22. I can delete this for you if you really want, but it could help others with the same problem, if they look that is But on a related note, if you squeeze an ASAS or and RCS tank between the pod and the XL chute, you will also get this problem, the way to fix it is to run a strut from the pod to the tank (or ASAS) and that will hold it on. Fitting a strut from the tank to the pod does not work however, as the check to see if the tank and chute stay on occurs before the check to see if the strut can handle the load.
  23. It's not exactly "official" if you don't work for Squad cocomoe1002, and you pinched someone else's annotated pic, plus this thread is going nowhere, so I'm closing it
