You know, this is a great topic for the already suggested list, how about we let Squad finish making their first game before asking for a sequel? I'll find a better thread to represent this than this one though, closing!

Nerf the Mk1-2 and 2.5m Lander Can?

A quick look on Wikipedia shows the heaviest Mercury (Mercury-Atlas 9) was about 3,000 pounds (1,400 kg), while the Apollo command module was 12,250 lb (5,560 kg). The Apollo capsule was more advanced, contained more equipment, and due to its size it had to be built stronger both to support its own mass and to withstand the forces that would act on it. The Apollo pod was about 4.0833 times the mass of the Mercury. Applying this to Kerbal tech we get a Mk1-2 weighing in at about 3.43 tons. I think that reducing the mass of the Mk1-2 below this would not reflect the more advanced nature of the part. -

The only way to be sure is to reinstall. You could try by delete the following: settings.cfg Physics.cfg partDatabase.cfg Any folder in GameData other than Squad Any folder in saves other than training and scenarios The old folders for addons should be empty, never install a mod to those. Doing this cannot account for any changes to Squad files that were made by addons. Also, reset your KSP.exe from the 64bit hacked version to the original.

Also guys, don't forget that fuel lines have trouble when going from one tank to two or more, two into one works but not the other way around. Rockets should only be drawing from their stack as well, not adjacent tanks, only jets draw fuel from neighbouring tanks and they do so equally. If your rockets are drawing fuel from radial tanks it's either not a stock install or you put fuel lines on it.

Of course, it ran on my machine at 1 frame per 3 seconds But it's unfair of me to always show craft I can run on my PC, that's another reason why there's also the tiny craft challenge this TOTM, so people like me aren't left out.

Migrate to Steam

That is an annoyance of Steam, it knows if a game you started via Steam is still running and complains when you try to close the Steam client, but it still doesn't prevent you from playing KSP. -

Craft save management

I dunno, I find it a pain to mess with many folders and I forget what I put where, I'd like the craft load menu to sort craft by their type (Ship, probe, etc, we'd need to be able to set this in the editor) and I'd like a search box/filter so I can type in part of the name and it'll only show the matches. -
Please try disabling one of the graphics cards so KSP can only run on one.
