  1. Moved to support, will assume mods as well. The tracking station isn't bugged (except for viewing the resource overlay), it should work unless a mod is conflicting with it. There are some craft you cannot access however, such as contract rescuees, you must get a vessel within 2.5km of them before they can be switched to.
  2. Spoilerfied the post, seriously please don't post the whole log like that Probably just too big a craft, but we need to see it, try putting a few screenshots on imgur
  3. There is no fix for this currently, the workaround is to view the ore overlay via the flight scene or the map, it does not work in the tracking station.
  4. There doesn't appear to be a binding for the camera zoom/vertical toggle, it must be hardcoded to the left shift key. How about rebinding the keypad zoom to - and = ?
  5. KSP's current controller handling is poor, sorry, it can require a couple of restarts with previously bound controllers attached before it correctly assigns them. The first time you start KSP after attaching a controller it doesn't have any controllers listed in the settings.cfg, only past bindings if any, so it doesn't assign any controls to the controller then adds that controller to the settings.cfg as a known device. The second time you start KSP with the controller still attached it sees it in the settings.cfg then assigns any bindings that were made for that controller. Yes it's a bad system and should be fixed for 1.1
  6. Banned for reminding me of skittles.
  7. Sorry guys but I am closing this one, as has been mentioned it's not really a topic of this forum, and it does single out a group. Women who play games are people who want to play games, just like anyone else, and gender or gender identity doesn't factor into this. Let gamers be gamers and treat them as such, regardless of their gender.
  8. Hi @FloatingMongoose, does it still say "Not found" after restarting KSP with both controllers attached?
  9. I can load the vessel without issue. I suggest you install a new copy of KSP, start a new save and try loading craft in that, as unless you are missing stock parts there is no reason why this X-Wing shouldn't load for you.
  10. Unfortunately this may be caused by your Intel graphics chip, it has no memory of its own and is sharing the system RAM (currently it has only 256 megabytes), so there is limited memory for KSP's textures which explains why some are not able to display. The amount of memory dedicated to the graphics chip can usually be changed in the Bios (see your computers manual for details). Also your drivers are woefully out of date, you may be able to improve matters by updating the graphics driver, you can get the latest driver for this chip here on the Intel driver website, you will have to reboot the PC after the driver has finished installing. If that does not help then you should consider buying a separate graphics card.
  11. More likely a bad internet connection. As downloading the zip file data makes a new copy of the zip on your hard drive, if there is any problem when downloading the resulting file will be incomplete or corrupted. The zip should be about 580 or 590 megabytes in size, if it's smaller than this you have an incomplete download. You could try disabling any firewall you might be using, and as there are no viruses or pop up adverts on the Squad store you could also try disabling your antivirus just while downloading this file, scan it after it finishes downloading if you're concerned. But if you can download it somewhere else and put it on a memory stick I'd try that.
  12. What version of KSP are you using minerpirate? If it is the demo you will not have these parts available.
  13. Please set it to RightShift, and hold the Right Shift key when you press F12. Alternatively please try another keyboard that does not combine other keys with F12. Also, try googling for issues with your keyboard model, this may be a known problem for your keyboard with a simple workaround.
  14. Fonts are handled by the Unity3D engine, and you can find the documentation on this here. Currently Squad does not use dynamic fonts, and as localisations are planned this is not likely to change until Unity add unicode support to dynamic font rendering.
  15. It likely does have something to do with it, as there is no known issue in KSP to cause this. What key do you need to use to make the scroll lock work? It can't be F12, so it has to be a combination. You could try setting the modifier key to something else, such as the RightAlt or RightShift key.
  16. Hi aburnkatoo, if you open your settings.cfg in notepad and search for "modifier" you'll see something like this. If it's not LeftAlt you may want to set it to that, then save the file and start KSP. If it still doesn't work then it's likely that your F12 key is in use as a media key, so KSP can't use it, you'll need to check the manual that came with your PC or laptop on how to toggle this, but usually there's a button or key for it, such as the Fn key on laptops.
  17. Hi QuietElite, please hold down the mod key and press X to cancel all trim applied to the vessel.
  18. Hi kstark, you may be looking for this. Localisations are planned but not till after 1.1 at the earliest
  19. Yep, forcing D3D11 and OpenGL do this, the pixel correction for D3D9 doesn't work on those modes. This also affected Linux and OSX, and took a lot of tuning to get right. Squad only supports D3D9 on Windows by the way.
  20. I just tested the Windows store download and it seems to be fine. I suggest trying another archive program such as 7zip. Or try downloading from another location such as at a friends house.
  21. Okay @Rocket_Guy24, please start KSP, close it, then find your output_log.txt, you can find more information on that here. Also, run dxdiag from the start menus "run" box, and save the hardware report. Put both of these on a file share site such as dropbox.com and post the share link here.
  22. Please take a look at this thread mc8888, we will need more information from you beginning with your output_log.txt :)
  23. Minerpirate, can you please tell us which ships they are that are locked, with links to where you found the ships.
  24. Hi mcirish3, solar panel occlusion is calculated based on planet size, the terrain mesh and water are not a factor. So you can get sunlight through mountains in some places.
