ok thanks! I do not care about parts. I'm using mods for the first time so I'm going for a bunch of ones that add parts without changing aero/other important things that will make my life harder. -

ok thank you! I had only heard about in other threads, and they only talked about the ability to make fuel. Thank you! Also, does anyone know if kethane does the same thing as karbonite? -
Hi guys! My question is, what are the reasons for using karbonite. We already have a stock mining system that lets us refuel stuff, so what exactly makes karbonite so special? Thanks! p.s. Not sure if this should go here or go into general questions since its about mods. Please move if I'm wrong.

If I just use the default skins and such for a Kerbal, can't I just change their attribute? I want to make a tourist, who does absolutely nothing, other then EVA. They don't cost money to hire, they can't pilot, can't do science, and can't fix stuff. they just ride in the shuttle, get out, and inhabit your bases so you aren't wasting money hiring pilots to go live in a space station forever. -

I've seen plugins that add new kinds of Kerbals to the game. like medics, and colonists. Since it seems like the simplest add-on possible, and since I know enough about coding to not break my game, it seems like fun. Nothing I could find described how to do that, it only talked about how to make a Kerbal with pre existing things, like a new pilot, etc. -

could you use one the KIS/KAS script, and make a custom container as an extension to KIS/KAS?

Hi guys! Now that I have basic (emphasis on the word basic) understanding of C# for coding ksp, I need to know if I need anything else to make my own plugins, I see a lot about MM, but is it required for making an add-on? Also, any other programs/mods that help make mods? Thanks!

Hi guys! I want to start making simple personal mods/add-ons (whichever one turns out to be easiest lol), but I've run into a wall. I have no clue what the name of the coding program that KSP runs on... . If its Lua, then I'm happy because I have basic understanding of that via playing roblox. If its something different.... then... welp. Time for new education. Thanks for help!

Is it possible to just take 1 block of coding that does it? I really do not like weapon mods for a space game, (they made space defenders for a reason ) but I want to test out my idea for a stock targeting system, but I've got nothing to test it with .

Anyone know of any add-on that adds just a laser module that can shoot a laser from orbit, or how to make one? It doesn't even have to cause damage, the idea of having a giant orbital laser pointer is exciting enough for me . I already have a fully stock targeting system that should work, in theory, so it does not even have to have that built in. Thanks for your help!

I would not press it because I do not get the joke... A button that if you press, 50% chance you'll be happy, 50% Author Dent will walk by with the improbability drive and try to make tea with it.
