I, in order to power SIX large converters simply put (literally) 100-200 (I didn't count) thermonuclear generators to produce power, and even then at max effeciency I was losing power, luckily the ore ran out first. -

http://imgur.com/a/Vt6W4 theres my attempt, I was proccessing the ore so fast with 6 large proccessers and 4 five star engineers that I was getting 5 fuel for every 2 ore and was filling my fuel tanks mid flight, the ore ran out pretty fast though, did you like it? -

it has to be an external antenna. it seems to me like you're giving me a run for my money. I launched 240 probes but they where only a hecto core, a nuclear generator and a small relay dish. look at my submission to see how I did it. you did it A LOT better then me so good job -

if you don't want to do a large space station then you don't have to, it could just be a command pod. it could just be the mun or even minmus for all I care (not gilly though, thats too easy). but it is possible. -

my record (which won't count towards the leaderboard) is 240 sustaining relay satellites. http://imgur.com/a/ap5GW as you can see. i launched and it was laggy. i had to set all the video settings to as low as possible and at some point i was trying to reorient my spacecraft to get it into the prograde position but if i didn't time warp fast enough it would jiggle itself from the booster stage and i couldn't get it about the minimun periapse highth. but i did it and it was awesome:) i will do it again and record it so i can post it to youtube once i get a recording software. -

this is a challenge to see how many probes you can get into kerbin orbit in one launch. rules: 1. the probes can be intended for what ever you want. 2. ONLY ONE LAUNCH, that's the point of this challenge. 3. the probes all have to be on one craft at some point. 4.it has to be one vessel getting into orbit, then the satellites will be released for it to count. 5.it can't be just a big launch station on the ground. look to rule 4. 6. it has to be at least a 200 km orbit. 7. you have to prove that you did it, preferably a video of the launch but pictures are fine as well. 8. proof that you didn't cheat. no infinite fuel or anything. 9. the probes have to be self sustaining. you can't just launch a load of small probe cores and call it good. 10. each probe must have: the ability to gain and store power, an antenna (not just a built in one), the ability to orient itself with some sort of reaction wheel (built-in or not) and the ability to control it. when you make an entry there will be two categories: modded and UN-modded. if you have any modified parts on the craft its considered modded. there will be two running scores, each for the categories. if you have a question just ask. even more so when it comes to rules. lag has besieged my attempts. good luck. p.s. how do you post pictures? the modded winner so far is: TheEpicSquared at 16 satellites. the UN-modded winner so far is: doctor davinci at 225 satellites. my record: 240 Un-modded

just a flat octo core with a battery, small inline reaction wheel and a oscar-b fuel tank. with a small air intake in front and a juno engine in back. with the basic fins you get from the start on the campain in any config that works for you. -
I wanted to break the world record for most satellites deployed from one launch of 108 by launching 256 satellites in one launch. it was really laggy when I launched the vessel and about 10 seconds in the game crashed. I went back in and when I tried to load the vessel. the vab vessel selector had NOTHING there. I went to the craft files and got rid of the crafts and it then loaded all the stock vessels just fine. I put back all the vessels and when I checked. it was all gone again. not the sph but just the vab. while I was moving all the vab vessel out of the folder I saw that the one I was working on was 3 megabytes. all the others where 10-20 kilobytes and there was a 200 kilobyte craft there as well. (the base launcher, which I used for launching the satellites) so could someone please explain how that weird stuff happened? I'll give you the crash log of you tell me how.

just a fun idea. make a REALLY small flyer. then put a lot of them on a big plane by having the octoganol struts or something like that and then a small seperator because flyers that small have problems with aerodynamics with the radial decouplers and then set all the flyers to point toward (you can use a mod to set the autopilot on all the flyers at once if you want, it makes it a lot easier and A LOT less tedious) a plane of your choosing and then try to avoid them.

a challenge with story: you have some rich housing marketers and landlords that'll invest BILLIONS. but before they'll invest they tell you: "The housing market is going crazy. A house worth 6 months pay 5 years ago now costs 40 years pay and we want YOU to fix it. We want you to expand the housing market to other planets. We'll invest in you space program but you need to prove that you're capable of this expansion. If you can launch a REAL 4 kerbal house, and not a silly looking base but a real looking house to the mun then we will invest that 2 billion kerbucks and start planning for the expansion. AND if you can launch a 6 kerbal house, again realistic looking to a planet, other than kerban of course. Then we will invest triple that and give you half of the houses you land to own, as well as paying for getting the houses there. We'll even pay double that if you can get it to eeloo." That's exactly what they said and its you job to complete it. Unless you DON'T want that 2 or 6 or 12! billion kerbucks and chance to own half of all the housing outside of kerbin. good luck:)

Here's a question for all those who play ksp. what was your biggest derp moment in kerbal space program? like for example you send this lander to gilly for a plant a flag on gilly contract only to forget the kerbal. stuff like that.
