I am playing in ksp 1.3.1 But surely it should work because if you see the last posts on this thread you see Lisias's videos playing ksp 1.6.1 with Infernal Robotics Next.
-
you should get Lisias fork of KJR. As for active struts I don't know. But you probably don't need them.
-
Hmmm so for what I understand, KJR/RM is only available through Lisias fork of it. Right? Sorry for my lack of intelligence.
-
What is up with your FPS! that's so bad performance. what are your specs?????? Is it because you were recording? I hope so...
-
EDITED: And that version works with IR next? isn't it just a 3.3.3 version for ksp 1.5.1 or else? I mean... I am playing on ksp 1.3.1 and wanted to install IRnext with a compatible KJR version.
-
It is your own fork that isn't it? I have tried it already but I noticed too much lag when decoupling radial boosters. (without your fork there is lag already but it was worse with it) Although I might give it another chance.

Hey, why the link to the KJR is dead? How should I get this working with KJR if the link is dead? help please.... I am using KSP 1.3.1
-
I don't understand how to download previous versions from github. What link do I have to click? It seems it can' be done without CKAN, but I just don't use CKAN. And I need a previous version of this mod because last version bugs RP-1.
-
Thanks for that. So your fix might work for that too, right? I am trying to recompile, sent you private message. Please can you help me?

Thanks for that Dkavolis! My experience is that to reproduce the bug, you should decouple a stage that has a command probe in atmosphere. Possible mod conflicts? Rp1 - Principia ksp.log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/t3h8pmwg4fvvz3x/KSP.log?dl=0 output.log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jik0m7nngcv7tv2/output_log.rar?dl=0 I will try to do the recompile though. Not sure if I will be succesfull as I know nothing about that but well. I'll do my best. (also, I don't have the mod Trajectories installed)

Hello Dkavolis. I am playing RP1 on ksp 1.3.1 and using a lot of avionics on stages. So when I have a command module on a stage that is being decoupled, I have terrible lag for some moments with lots of exceptions thrown on log. They all look like this: [EXC 23:24:07.549] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object FerramAerospaceResearch.FARAeroComponents.FARVesselAero.SimulateAeroProperties (UnityEngine.Vector3& aeroForce, UnityEngine.Vector3& aeroTorque, Vector3 velocityWorldVector, Double altitude) FerramAerospaceResearch.FARAPI.InstanceCalcVesselAeroForces (.Vessel vessel, UnityEngine.Vector3& aeroForce, UnityEngine.Vector3& aeroTorque, Vector3 velocityWorldVector, Double altitude) FerramAerospaceResearch.FARAPI.CalculateVesselAeroForces (.Vessel vessel, UnityEngine.Vector3& aeroForce, UnityEngine.Vector3& aeroTorque, Vector3 velocityWorldVector, Double altitude) I know 1.3.1 is old but its what RP1 runs on. I saw that you've seen this messages in the original thread of FAR so maybe you fixed this on current versions of your fork? I don't know but if that is true would a backport for 1.3.1 be possible? or even one with a fix for this? I hate that lag in an important event as decoupling in RP1. Thanks for your help.

When simulating in RP-1 ksp 1.3.1 , sometimes TestFlight starts sending lots of messages, growing my log file quite large and dropping fps. [LOG 00:37:16.144] 1/16/2019 12:37:16 AM,TestFlightCore,Setting HideUI = False [LOG 00:37:16.146] 1/16/2019 12:37:16 AM,TestFlightCore,Setting HideUI = False [LOG 00:37:16.148] 1/16/2019 12:37:16 AM,TestFlightCore,Setting HideUI = False [LOG 00:37:16.150] 1/16/2019 12:37:16 AM,TestFlightCore,Setting HideUI = False lots of those messages. Should I talk to testflight ? It only happens on simulation

I have experienced the same thing, but not only in the last releases. It's like the SAS prograde is linked to a different frame of reference in the navball. If you change the reference by clicking on the navball then the SAS prograde was fine. But when changing to the other reference then the SAS autopilot doesn't notice or something.

Then if you could do a backport for 1.3.1 with the performance fix, I would love you... -
Realism overhaul no engines
Agustin replied to Allyen's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
are you using ksp 1.3.1? Are you following instructions from somewhere? What mods do you have installed? Can you provide an image of your gamedata folder? -
[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18
Agustin replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
There seem to be quite a few enhancements on later versions. But I am playing on RP-1 ksp 1.3.1 and it would be great if there wa a backport if you think the new improvements worth it.... and if it's easy to do...- 14,073 replies

How much RAM do you have?
Agustin replied to LusBax's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
8GB of RAM GT 720 2GB (not good) I5 3.00 Ghz Playing RSS/RO/PRINCIPIA/RP-1 With some part mods quite fluidly even with passable grpahics. good performance. A lot of tweaking here and there to get this performance.
