Is armor really that useful anymore? Or is it better to skip armor and just stuff more missiles?

@MiffedStarfish Yes it did help, also are mods like tweakscale or B9 procedural wings allowed as they just make it so your ships don't have horrendous part counts or is it just if the other person agrees?

I've just started building stock war craft and I have a question. Do many people here make thier missile tubes sealable (mk3 cargo ramp) to protect against missiles ? If so does the game model the colliders for moving parts such as control surfaces?

I think I figured out why. I heard somewhere that antimatter reactors only produce power when something needs power, is this correct?

It is possible that the missile can't turn tight enough to hit the target. If not it might be a strange bug. I have also been expirementing with modular missiles and I can't figure how they target the enemy, is it like radar or something like that?

I have downloaded this mod recently and have been having trouble with some of the parts. I'm playing in sandbox and some parts such as the plasma thruster don't seem upgraded. For example the plasma thruster does not give me the option to run it off quantum vacuum. Most of the other parts are fine, except some of the reactors aren't giving me as high a core tempurature as they should. I would really appreciate help.

Is Dres considered extra system? According to my sources your a big fan of max_creative and he likes Dres and in a previous thread you stated " raise Dres awarness". P.S If I get the jar of cookies make them cream cheese cookies.

So I recently installed Interstellar Extanded and either I'm really stupid and missed something obvious or my generators are bugged. Basically I'm making an SSTO with antimatter ganerators (in sandbox) and when the charged particle generators areattached to the reactor they produce what ever it they produce but when I put a thermal generator next to the reactor I look at the right click menue and it shows that it isn't producing anything. Am I misreading something or is it bugged? I would really appreciate help.
