Hi @blackheart612, love the mod! But maybe, a curved tail cone would be nice. Now all of the tails are straight up but not curved like most proper aeroplanes. Just an idea... And btw, this is my first post in two years :P

@blackheart612, any update on the seaplane parts? If not dont worry, as said many times before, real life first!

@ashleybb I blame that on the cockpit and tailplane That's what happens when I run out of ideas, though I suppose it could have a twin/v-tail.
I believe this topic is a little bit dead...

These prototype pontoons are made to be used as 1.25m sized as well. In case it wasn't clear, there are 3 parts to this, a "nosecone" type, "fuselage" type and "tailboom" type of pontoon, making it like the plane parts and modular. If these are sized 1.25m, you could make the same pontoons as most planes. The only reason it was sized 2.5m is for it to be clipped on 2.5m fuselages or, if for some reason you wanted to have huge pontoons.
I'm having a rough time with this idea because I kind of don't like the making of new parts specifically for seaplanes because it's kind of straying too far so I'd like it to be largely optional. So if it doesn't work out, it might become just 1.25m or smaller in the end, or not be released at all. The problem I have is how the "nosecone" and "tailboom" will be flushed together with the clipped part, unless it's not clipped and just a pontoon of course. Else, it's really going to need its own set of parts.Yeah, i agree with @qromodynmc. They don't really look that good. It might sound a bit pushy, but why not a new kind of cockpit? Just for flying boats, based on the clipper. (because thats the flying boat everyone knows) If i had some knowlegde on 3d moddeling, i'd help you, but i don't have that knowledge xD. Just those three parts that you listed above, the cockpit, fuselage and tailpiece, nothing else. Just some advice! And yeah, keep the pontoons you have now as normal "exterior pontoons" like the Twin Otter.

Hi!
Just note that the plane was from a 1.1.x save, but almost everything behind that engine (from airplane plus) is Procedural Wings, with the exception being components from NEBULA Decals (USAAF Decal), and Aviator Arsenal (Command Antenna).
The cockpit too?

@Angel-125 True, although, even if they did, kind of pointless in stock KSP? Unless you have a carrier mod installed.

Anyway, little bit of update. Reason why I'm not updating that much is I'm thinking of how to implement some of the requested stuff and I've made the curves of the early props smoother. Still the same curves though. I did buff their power a little bit.
Though most recent creation is a rounded wing which is like the delta-deluxe but much bigger control surface and rounder. It was made for a H tail, but also works if not.
Looks fancy, will be great on the Boeing 314 Clipper if you implement seaplane parts!

Small update, I've encountered personal issues in real life. I'll be back very shortly. No updates on development yet because of that though. I'm sorry about that.
No problems here!

what I want is one of 1.25m large thrust turbojet engine, or just make the J85 compatible TweakScale.
I really liked the classic second generation fighter.
There are tweak scale patches made by players... Can someone give him the link?

*planegasm* THAT WOULD BE FRIGGING AWESOME, maybe add an option that you can make them longer (but not more powerful, still the same engine in the "tube") @blackheart612

@FlyHighAviator Based on my own experience, to prevent flip-overs, don't overdo the TWR. If it's too high, it's likely to flip over. That's why I recommend the plugin in the OP.
So if i understand correctly, just set the throttle limiter to a smaller number?
@NeoFatalis Thanks

Ok @blackheart612, might sound like a noob here, but what do you mean with OP and TWR?

You also want to make sure that your center of mass sits very low on the craft, or it will roll. Or use lots of reaction wheels.
Oh ill try that the, its always like in the middle...
-
Just a suggestion. Maybe you can make an A-36 Apache style cockpit... Or another style of WW2 era cockpit.

You don't want to use the center of lift, you want to use the center of thrust.
Oh yeah, typed it wrong...
-
Can anyone give me a guide on building helicopters? When i put the center of lift exactly above the CoM, it still flips over at some speed/throttle...
-
Ohlala, thats quite awesome to build a B-36 Peacemaker... Show us when you're finished. @Turk_WLF
-
Well @XOC2008, love the idea, maybe you can make the wings of the c130 fold with Infernal R. And @kiwinanday something easier please ...

@FlyHighAviator You like cruciform tails, I see.
Not because of how they work, but because they look flippin awesome! I had troubles with the balancing, it kept flipping over on take off. But now its fixed! I now need a new kind of plane but i cant think of anything... Gimme something @kiwinanday!

Woopwoop, love this mod! Some more formation flight pics!
