I usually spend around 30 mins making a craft, and when I go to launch it, even if it's stock, the game will like freeze. Then the craft will load, except the game will again, freeze for like a minute at a time, and only load a single frame. It's really frustrating!!!! I loaded the Aeris A-3, a completely stock, small craft, and the same thing happened. I installed a few mods, launched a craft, it happened. Thinking that the mods must be causing it, I uninstalled the mods completely, and yet, it's still happening. Any help?

I think she did, as we rescued her from a life of dumpster-diving as a kitten and had cared for her for the rest of her life.

[1.4.X] SM Marine, Version 0.9.9.3 KSP xx PSA important
Chel replied to SpannerMonkey(smce)'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I've had a serious problem with your mod, SpannerMonkey. I installed it for 1.2.2 (I haven't updated to 1.3 yet), and while the game was loading, it crashes. I go into the 'error.log' and it says that 'KERNELBASE.dll caused an exception in C:/users/-my real name-/Games/KSP/KSP.exe. I've just uninstalled the mod, and I'm writing this as KSP is loading. This is really annoying! -
So what's with the dots for the rank? When will I move up to four dots? I'm on three, so how do I get to four?

Yesterday afternoon I attended a mini-funeral in our backyard, putting her body to rest. We have a rock each for all our cats, and all our dog's ashes are put in colourful little boxes to keep. We also put in her favourite ball (that she liked to chew on), and a little solar powered light next to her rock so at night time she can shine just like she used to (the light from the hallway at night made her face look cuter and brighter). Thanks everyone for your support in this difficult time...

I would probably try Realism Overhaul. It strives to make KSP like real life.

I had a Kerbal named 'Diet Kerman'. And also 'Hudsod Kerman', and 'Halzon Kerman'. I even had a Kerbal named 'Takagi Kerman', and 'Taco Kerman', and 'Bikky-Bobzafe Kerman'

I recently installed the Large Boats Parts Pack by @Laythe2, and had a serious problem. I built a small little boat and put it out to sea, and when it hit the water, it simply went under the water, and didn't float. I had no CoM issues, it wasn't heavy, and it was small, but why make a boat parts mod, if the parts don't even float? Boats are suppost to float, not to sink. Submarines do that, not boats. I now use them in space and have made them larger and have many levels so they look like space cruisers and frigates and everything, but why don't any of the boat parts float?

Hello all, this isn't what I usually post on the forums. But anyway, time to tell whoever comes across this topic. I'm at school now, waiting for classes to start, having to deal with the day, with another kind of pressure. My beloved cat, Tara, had to be put down last night. She wasn't eating or drinking, and we made the decision after she hadn't had anything to eat or drink since Thursday. She was 15 years old, and we got her as a stray kitten at two weeks since birth. Unfortunately, she didn't get the amount of food necessary for her body to grow during kittenhood, so even though she was considered roughly 90 in cat years, she still looked like a month-old kitten in size. Everyday when I came home from school, she would be waiting for me outside the house. A friendly "Meow" when I got through the door, and nearly every night she would jump up on my bed and sit there, curling up in a little ball and purring, which helped me to go to sleep. She lived a nice, happy, fruitful life, and we cannot thank her enough for that. We rescued her from sickness and hunger as a kitten, dumpster diving for food, and gave her a home, a warm bed, and a nice outside area to explore and sit in the sun when she was cold. She was with us for 15 years, and now she's playing with Kenny up in the sky, having all the milk and chicken she could ever hope for. Tara: 2002 - 2017

A thread to post KSP versions of Star Wars vehicles! Must be stock, so other people can build them, and that's about it! I wonder if anyone would make a 1:1 scale death star? It's over 100,000km across! Just be sure to have a mechanism to blow it up if you do the trench run!

If they don't want to see such an awesome and great kit, and piece of 60's engineering, they should go EVA out of their spacecraft into Jool!
-
Hey! Nice job mate! I've ordered mine off the LEGO website and it'll be taking like 14 days to arrive, but anyway, I've got KSP to tire me over with before that! Can you post pics of the finished rocket?

I traveled to Eeloo's surface and back using 1 fuel tank
Chel replied to JacobJHC's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
What about a handy thing called 'launch windows'? Eeloo spends most of it's time very far from Kerbol, but it also intersects Jool's orbit as well. Waiting until Eeloo is there saves fuel, and makes it easier to get an encounter. -

I've built the BT-1 Interceptor to fly around, bombing random bits of land at the KSC. I've also made the BQ-1, or 'Suicide Drone', which just flies to it's target and is packed with explosives. It uses a klaw to grab the target, and then explodes, taking the target with it. Using BDarmory with Kerbinside never looked more good! -
Milestone Reached! Thanks for 200 views! 200 people have viewed my story so far! Thanks!

That post that you've quoted is from four years ago, so a reply is probably uncommon (If i'm wrong, then you win, but anyway ).

Thanks! I just reloaded the save, and the ring station is there! Thanks! You've saved me 4 hours of pain and frustration!!
-
And now...instead of the usual 15 min loading time, it was only 2, and I found out why: Apparently the crash caused every single model, texture, part, resource, and everything else to not load, and now I have a save game of 30+ ships that are now gone. Looks like I'm going to have to spend another 3 hours putting that ring station around Moho again! Yay,,,
-
I gradually started clearing my SolarFlare ring station of crew, using escape pods that I had docked there. Got through the atmosphere, landed safely, went on EVA to plant a flag. Next thing, black screen, and game crashes! Did I land on the Kraken's nest or something?

ARMADRILLO Jeb contacted the PSC to tell them of his findings on the Mun. Gene told them to get back in their ship to preserve their snacks and oxygen, as EVA packs only had 15 hours of oxygen. While they were on the Mun, the RnD team had found some robotic parts out the back, and attached little screws to them, and created drills. This was what they would need to excavate the area to find the base, and a mission was put forth. 'Wernher, how do you feel about building a rover?' Gene asked him one day as he was drinking his koffee. 'It will be hard, ja, but not impossible'. Three weeks later, the 'Snowstorm-1' was created. The VAB workers had nicknamed 'Snowstorm-1' ARMADRILLO, as it was a drilling rover. It was put on top of an LV-2 'Smokestack' launcher, and was rolled out to the Launchpad. Smoke And Mirrors The launch was held in the early morning, when the Mun was close to Kerbin. The rocket lifted off, carrying it's special cargo inside a 2.5m fairing. 'SRBs jettisoned', the Controllkerb told Mission Control through the intercom at his place in the room, overseeing the whole operation. Then, there was only smoke. 'What's happening, Wernher? Why is there smoke?' 'It's only the new engine, Gene. The new 'Mainsail' as we like to call it, is very powerful and generates a lot of thrust, therefore creating a large cloud behind it'. He quickly explained. 'Second stage jettisoned, Munar intercept achieved'. Velocity The crew of the Andromeda was informed by Gene that the rover was coming, and were asked to 'prepare'. The payload fairing was split, and the rover decoupled from it. Now it was relying on the skycrane for thrust. '50m/s, 48m/s, 44m/s-' 'Ronald, shut up', Gene told the Controllkerb, as he was relaying the speed back to the PSC. '5m/s, prepare for touchdown!' '4m/s, 3m/s...skycrane jettisoned, rover landed!' The PSC erupted in cheers, but a look of horror was forming on the Controllkerb's face. 'Sir, something's wrong. The rover isn't responding. It isn't appearing on radar, scans, or anything.' 'We don't have anything to scan the Mun, silly', Gene replied. 'PSC, something's happening here! The rover's disappeared! I'm going to check out the area and see if I can fi-' Jeb was cut short by something. Screams were heard. Yelling. Crying. Wailing. And then...no more. The intercom went silent. The PSC went silent. Kerbin went silent. Only silence to be heard, silence to be seen...

This is the first chapter. I'll write one more 'episode' before I'll leave it on a cliffhanger till I finish my exams (3 more days to go!), and then I'll give you 3 'episodes' on the weekend. Also, thanks for taking an interest in the story, I enjoy the feedback! ----------------------------------SEPERATE POST, GOT MERGED ANYWAY--------------------------------- Thanks!

Ok, thanks -
The Archway Of Light The five Kerbals got in the rover, which was one of the LKTs (Light Kerbal Transports), and after playing a game of tik tak toe, Lizicca was the winner, who therefore got to drive. "Hey, what about fuel? What if this thing is empty?" Phonica asked, always seeming to ask questions right before they were going to do something big (Asanna had longed to tell Phonica to shut up for once, except Lizicca had warned her in case Mission Control found out) "The rovers are run on Electricity, so there's no fuel involved" Kirsky answered back. Strapping themselves in to the old seatbelts, which surprisingly didn't fall apart the second they touched them, they were off. The rover had a top speed of nearly 40m/s, and could stop completely within 5 seconds if need be. Asanna tapped Lizicca on the back to get her to stop for a moment, and was pointing at something in the distance. Within minutes, thanks to the rover's impressive 35m/s speed, they were there. It turned out to be an archway, just sitting in the middle of nowhere, for no apparent reason. "Hold on, I think I remember that there was a small science base near the arch", Asanna interrupted, amidst the silence. "Well, it doesn't seem to be here now!" Lizicca answered. "I can see a bit of something over here, possibly a Hitchhiker container or something", Phonica said to the group. He had indeed spotted something. Poking out of the grey and black surface was a quarter of a Hitchhiker container, with one of the windows turned upright. "So, they just sank into the ground? That doesn't make sense to me" Kirsky replied. "Or something came through here and attacked the base, burying it in the sand" Jeb said. Anyway, they were going to need help if they wanted to excavate the site.
