  1. I'm all for clipping, as long as it makes sense. Purely structural parts, clip away, doesn't matter. But when you get stuff like fuel tanks and habitable areas clipping together, or fuel tanks overlapping where they're holding an impossible amount of fuel, it becomes a problem. No amount of clipping when it comes to moving parts is acceptable for my builds. I frequently see crafts where landing gear magically appear out of fuselages, or extended solar panels spinning through nearby parts, and it legit bothers me. I've reverted entire missions because I noticed that I accidentally had the corner of a solar panel clip a pixel or through through the ship. I will not use the 3x2 retractable solar panel. It actually clips through its own cover.
  2. Welcome to the forum, @ZZYZZY! Here's a quick SS that should guide you to that spot. Note though, that you cannot change your avatar until you have 5 non-Lounge posts. Once your posts no longer need to be approved, you can update much more or your profile, like setting your avatar, signature, member Title, etc. Unfortunately, since you posted this question in The Lounge, it doesn't count. Notice your post count is still 0. If it had been in Welcome Aboard or Kerbal Network, where it will likely be moved to, it would have incremented your post count to 1, and you'd be ever closer to being able to change your picture.
  3. My new clicky keyboard is in! I give it about 15 minutes before my wife kills me, especially since I can't type worth a damn on this thing.
  4. I've seen it posted a few times that it used to matter, maybe pre-1.0?, but that it doesn't anymore.
  5. Going through Mash Q I'll see myself out...
  6. F4 toggles the brackets around other ships. Is that what you're having problems with? I've accidentally turned it off myself a few times.
  7. I can tell neither of you has ever built a computer... Memory sticks can't go in backward. The logo/sticker's not backward either. It's on the heatspreader in the same position as the other three. The heatspreader was put on the stick backward. Next time my wife actually shuts her computer down, I'll need to swoop in and see which way the single stick in hers is facing... and possibly steal it.
  8. Been awhile since I had my basement computer oot and aboot, and was reminded of this today. Why, G.Skill? Why?
  9. Launched a bunch of stupid looking rockets straight up. I didn't care if it was right, I thought it was cool and it was really fun staging stuff away. Eventually I got brazen enough to crash into the Mun at a couple km/s. Then I found the map mode, and things started to make the tiniest bit of sense.
  10. 2 pies and one cheesecake here at work! All this for... 4 people.. My favorite local pizza place (One of those pizza bar places where they make the pizza alacarte with unlimited toppings) is doing their 8" pizzas for $3.14! (Normally $6.99)
  11. They appear to be sold out... I think. When I click on it from my purchase history, it says there's 5 available, but there's no buttons to buy one. When I look at the items for sale for that seller, it's not on there... Signing out shows the listing as ended. I'll check again tomorrow to see if they're re-listed. @CatastrophicFailure Here
  12. Insanely awesome $28 triple monitor mount from eBay wins the day. Turning this: Into this: Once my new keyboard gets here, I'll do some proper big-boy cable management.
  13. Note that posts in The Lounge and Forum Games (being inside The Lounge) don't count toward your post count.
  14. Why? I do it all the time. Just don't delete the ones you need, like persistent.sfs. As long as you have a persistent.sfs file in your save's folder, the game will load.
  15. I've just never had any interest in the mission builder. I bought it for the parts. I even installed a mod that prevents the mission builder assets from loading since I'll never use them.
  16. <YourKspFolder>\saves\<YourSavesName> Where your KSP folder is will depend on your operating system and where you got the game from.
  17. Last night, I gave my wife one of these: Today, on the drive in to work, there was much less traffic than usual. There was almost no one at the gas station I stop at for breakfast. I've been at work for 20 minutes, and I'm THE ONLY ONE HERE. She says she didn't put it on and snap her fingers, but I've got some fine evidence she's lying....
  18. @aagun123, buddy, you gotta find something else for hosting your pictures.
  19. Setting it as the root of the vessel should make it the default "Control From Here" point. Although on the PC version, you can manipulate the camera so you end up scrolling through the rocket from the top, don't know why you wouldn't be able to do that on console. (I've never played on console, though.)
  20. I got this one. I know Rosewill isn't top-shelf, but I have a number of their products and am rather happy with all of them. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823201110 I'm not big on RGB either. My case is black with red accents. Fans are red only. My AIO has RGB on the pump, but it's set to stay on red all the time. My current keyboard is just backlit blue, but the keys are not wearing in a nice way. Mouse is RGB, but it only changes color when you change the DPI setting. Right now my normal DPI setting is on blue, but I can change the colors with the software, so it'll go to red now that it won't be next to a blue keyboard.
  21. I can't believe I actually purchased a mechanical, RGB keyboard. What have I become.
