  1. Sorry, I meant that if you are 18-24 OR in college. I'll change it
  2. @JStevenson I know for a fact they have redone a lot of planets since then, and I think that includes Eve. You can use the SCANsat mod to scope out a good landing spot.
  3. I know it certainly is a factor, but the question was how could one plane do the same as another one that was bigger. The fluid density would be constant so it wasn't really relevant to the question asked. With the amount of RAPIER's you strapped on that first one, I'd say yes...
  4. Sorry, I meant that if you have a higher constant thrust, it would give you a higher velocity. Not that a higher thrust contributes directly to more drag,
  5. I'm not trying to add fuel to this fire, but hear me out, guys. If Squad adds more mods that means more bugs. If there are more bugs there are more complaints. More complaints mean more bugfixes. More bugfixes mean more complaints about bugs and why there aren't more mods. Think from the perspective of a SQUAD dev. About how much time, money, and effort they took out of their OWN lives for this game. Do you think they've turned their back on KSP? They love this game just as much as we do, if not more. I can promise that KSP devs are doing all they can to change the game for the better, but these things don't happen overnight. Think of all the hours they're putting into developing... C'mon guys, just a little empathy for @SQUAD?, P.S. Sorry if off-topic, but this thread needs a chill-pill.
  6. @Snark Well, at least Jeb's happy for not being flung out into interplanetary space.
  7. I know I sound crazy, but I think the best moment in KSP i've had was the loading screen... I had so much hype built up to that point, I had waited years until I was finally allowed to get it since it was $40, and I was such a space nerd. I could've forked over 40 bucks just for that moment, and still be happy. /\ /\ This
  8. Ion engines? That's nothing. One mod I installed had an EM drive With 0 ISP (infinite)... And 0.00001 kN of thrust. Nothing Tweakscale couldn't do though.
  9. The more engines you have, the less total efficiency you have throughout the rocket, so you go a shorter distance. Also, if you have more thrust, there is more drag on your SSTO. Not to mention the extra weight and having, even more drag from your engines sticking out. That's why 3-ton rocket is able to just as much as a 50-ton rocket if you design it right. Sadly, "MOAR BOOSTERS!" does not always work (though it sure is entertaining).
  10. Good point, but then again... I don't mean that people actually studying using KSP ( I need to write a letter to the board of education!) I meant that they use it because it is related to what they are learning. Or at least, that's the excuse they give to their professors when they are late to class.
  11. Well, I included "in college" because I know a lot of people are doing KSP to get a Ph.D. in avionics or something, while people in school might be doing it for fun, which is different.
  12. The other day a ( 1200 page!) history textbook fell from the top of my locker and into my eye as I was kneeling on the floor. I walked into class and asked someone if it looked okay. They said a had a huge black bruise on my eye. I tell my teacher, she grunts, and makes me wait ten minutes before letting me go to the nurse's office. I spent 5 minutes walking across the school to her office. Conveniently, there is a long line of people waiting to give in their fall sports forms. After another 20 minutes, the nurse grunts and tells me to sit down. She talks the other teacher for ten minutes, and gives me a dry tissue and tells me to go back for class. Just to be clear, I am extremely nearsighted in one eye, and the tissue covered my good eye, so I took forever to stumble back to my class, looking like an idiot. When I get back to class, I have to do a test. Which the class was studying for while I was gone. That test dropped my A to a B-. Right before report cards. To this day, the bottom half of my only good eye is still blurry. So I have to read at a strange angle. But for me, that is a just an average day at school. England Wales is my city!
  13. I've seen mainly two age groups for KSP: In college and 40-50 years old. I was wondering how many other ages people actually play this game ( because for a game like this, most people playing when they are 40-50 doesn't make much sense). P.S I'm not saying there is anything wrong playing KSP as an adult. I'm just wondering why a good portion of its players are adults.
  14. You asked for some Uranium? I would like, clear, drinkable, liquid water
  15. I wait 26 million years for the cookie to decompose. Then I re-build it atom by atom in my hand. My cookie( after a few epochs)
  16. I melt your icy hill in the microwave and add a bit of seasoning My sp-icy hill
  17. 10/10 It's like you're stalking me...
  18. It looks great! Also, can you make Hotra-A a little less spiky? I have trypophobia and it is a pain to look at
  19. You shouldn't worry about it. Due to its rarity, it's more entertaining than annoying.
  20. Welcome to the forums! I do happen to know of a camera mod https://github.com/jrodrigv/CameraTools/releases
