An update of sorts from your forum moderation team.

if take two were a person i would give them the roman spike treatment and leave them hanging at the city walls entrance for all to see. their silence is absolute horse dung. what a piece of trash. -
This is the real question. We can infer, beyond a shadow of a doubt that the existence of this poll is a low-key confirmation that all hope is lost and KSP2 is headed straight for the dumpster.

Release KSP2 Release Notes - Update v0.2.2.0
bcink replied to Intercept Games's topic in KSP2 Dev Updates
literally the only thing i have been waiting on to remotely consider this game to be in a playable state and to risk wasting my time launching this game again. Good riddance to rubbish. Uninstalling at this point. -
That's what I'm saying. The retainer is not a big deal but the ongoing costs will be another story. I agree that there is probably no one who wants to buck up the kind of money that will be required just out of principle.
-
The retainer is not prohibitive. That's nothing. The ongoing costs will tell a very different story. 15k signatures is quite literally half of everyone who bought the EA however. Possible but quite challenging.
-
You're funny. I am not a legal expert and I have no intention on doing anything. Of course, companies are allowed to change direction and if this were the only piece of evidence brought, it would do absolutely nothing. It is one piece of information that can be used in part of any case that would be developed and cases can be developed on anything. I'll make a deal with you. Show me your bar certificate and I'll give you your money back for KSP.

suck the teet all you want. facts are facts.
-
Steam can say whatever they want. The representatives for this game literally stated "this game is fully funded through 1.0." We have EVERY cause to pursue legal action. I HIGHLY doubt there will be a problem getting enough signatures.

We can only guess at what is happening behind closed doors, but I think it is quite disappointing and frankly, a little pathetic that the core functionality of this game is such a broken pile of smegma. So much for having something solid to build upon. This is still nothing but framing on an unfinished house... and then they started building the addition before the house was even complete.
-
See my comment #1 - The core game functionality is still a hot mess.

1) Stacked parts decouple very poorly, often not at all. Sometimes time-warp fixes it, sometimes not 2) The countdown numbers on launch staging button do not countdown 3) You cannot create maneuver nodes when the game is paused? 4) There is very little re-entry / atmospheric drag tested when aerobraking 5) Tier 2 + UI is busted on ultrawide: 6) You can't expand science parts in the VAB. 7) Maneuver node creation is really janky. AP/PE points can overlap closely with maneuver node and its impossible to hover over the maneuver node's PE / AP to see what the numbers are 8) No trajectory appeared on takeoff from Mun: 9) Light parts not shining any light. Trying to give this a fair shake but eeesh still

Hey there, That is a bit curious. I wonder if it has been this way forever. Just taking a guess it would seem like the center point for the camera is off by small very minute value. I am afraid I haven't been doing any mod work in quite some time but let me put this on my radar and see if I can get around to checking this out in the coming days or weeks. Thanks!!!

Give. Us. Modding. Ability. Get over your games' status and your dreams and what you expected and give modding. You literally have nothing else to lose at this point.
-
I wasn't particularly planning on doing another update of this on KSP1, but may end up with a port to 2 if they ever open up modding.

probably the most relevant post in all of KSP 2 launch history so far.

Thanks. I will certainly keep this in my back pocket. As of now, I can't bring myself to start working on these. Everyone has their own take and opinion of the status of KSP2 and I respect whatever anyone's opinion is. Myself, I just can't do it right now. I like to properly test my parts and experiment and use them when I build them and KSP2 does not allow this at this time. Cheers <3

Thank you!! No, sorry. I think it was just released right around the last update to this. Have not heard of this one before.. Did it ever stop?
-
Thanks for your kind words! With only 8" Celestron, I am very jealous of your 11" ;D I am rather confident that there are new shader libraries being used so any sort of port over would likely involve a full re-texture, hence the major questions involving time. Definitely like the ideas. We'll need to see what possibilities are available in the new engine. Thanks!!

Hey everyone. I'm wondering if I should plan to port my existing KSP 1 mods into KSP 2. It would be a big help if the general community would provide some feedback on the polls so I can see where my time should be spent. FYI, there are plans for new mods in the future. Edit - I realize I neglected Making Alternate History. Whoops. Any big ups for that just post a comment
