  1. Also, notice that there seems to be almost a whole set of tile attachment points. Maybe they're going for a full heat shield on SN15?
  2. @Sokar408 What you've found there is a rare type of asteroid known as a 'magic boulder'. They're identical to regular asteroids except they have glowy bits which can be a variety of colours - yours is obviously blue. Good find!
  3. I tested and Kerbals can indeed hold four repair kits alongside their jetpack: So you won't need to remove the jetpack at all, you should have no problem repairing the panel.
  4. @minerbat you'll probably have to attach a ladder to your craft near the solar panel, grab onto it, put your Kerbal's jetpack away in a nearby container and then put the 4 repair kits in the Kerbal's inventory.
  5. Nice words from Chris Hadfield: I'm thinking that SpaceX didn't expect SN8 to get nearly as far as it did, so they started building a lot of prototypes so they could have several tries at the flight and left the major changes to SN15. But SN8's flight was almost perfect, and the issue that doomed it was easily fixable, so they realised that they could get away with skipping SN12-14 and move directly to higher and faster flights. Maybe SN15 will have a full heat shield and go to orbit, who knows?
  6. Yeah, they definitely won't catch it on the first flight. I wouldn't say 50 flights but certainly for 20 flights or so, SH will have landing legs.
  7. KSP has a bit of a memory leak issue, in which it'll use more and more memory over time. Getting more RAM will probably help, but if that's not an option there are workarounds (this hasn't been updated in a while but as far as I can tell it still works). You could probably try turning your graphics settings all the way down as well, if you haven't already done that.
  8. @damonvv Looking very nice! Did you/will you remodel the flaps? It's hard to tell on your picture, and the flap design has changed since the renders were made. Also, this was partly mentioned by @EritoKaio above, but you have the leg mounts in the wrong orientation. Here it is on SN8 for reference: I look forward to the update!
  9. Road closure for today: https://www.cameroncounty.us/spacex/ Edit: I believe Boca residents have also received notices, which points to a possible repeat static fire today.
  10. Good for him. Isn't this mostly from Tesla stock though? And isn't that extremely variable? So are we likely to see Jeff Who take the lead again soon?
  11. Great video by NSF looking back on the year in Starship development.
  12. Not true, they might not have intended to make it crash but there are always bugs, some of which can crash the game.
  13. I have been pinged four times. @AlamoVampire
  14. Have you got advanced tweakables turned on in the main game settings?
  15. Road is closed! We may be seeing a static fire today!
  16. @ultrapheonix An update entirely focused on bug fixes would certainly be nice. They could throw in some texture revamps as well, because those don't usually introduce bugs. But KSP 2 isn't going to fix any of KSP's bugs. It's not just a huge update to the original game, they're starting from scratch with a new one. We just have to hope that the delays pay off and the game isn't buggy.
  17. Woomerang was in the initial release of MH and then Dessert was released in one of the patches, if memory serves me it was 1.4.3.
