  1. She's probably just in the text boxes that come up while playing the ESA missions.
  2. It doesn't matter anyway. Star Theory is history now, and KSP 2 is continuing development (for better or worse). We still don't have the full story on what happened between T2 and Star Theory. It's best to just wait and see what KSP 2 is like when it releases.
  3. That wasn't my point. Small companies can be unethical, sure, but there's being 'bad' and then there's 'doing things that make no financial sense'.
  4. Not yet. If it was there would be an announcement.
  5. It might be accentuated by how dark it is there, but it looks like a large new dent has appeared halfway up the side of the vehicle. Also, this might be a bit late as SN5 has already started testing, but here's the latest NSF update video. It looks like components for the next SN are coming together rapidly.
  6. Looks like it might be from Mk2 Expansion.
  7. But why would they do that? Financially speaking, it doesn't make sense for a company to indefinitely postpone the release of a product they're spending money to develop. If Star Theory had planned to continuously delay KSP 2 and never release it, they would spend money for every day they continued to work on it but never make a return on their investment by actually selling the game. Though we might view big corporations as soulless machines that exploit their customers, their ultimate goal is still to make a profit. And working on an expensive product like a game but never making money off it goes entirely against that goal.
  8. @matiasb Great job! I remember how difficult I found my first docking - it probably took me a hundred attempts! Eventually you'll be doing it in your sleep
  9. I'm so excited Though due to timezones, it'll probably come really late in the evening for me. But I'll have loads of time the next day to play with it.
  10. My trusty ThinkPad has been running very hot recently - so hot that when I'm playing KSP, CPU temperatures got up to nearly 100 degrees Celsius, forcing it to throttle back performance. So I decided to do something about it. I took my computer apart, cleaned a load of dust out of the fan, and applied new thermal paste to the CPU. It really helped - before, temperatures could get into the 80s when just using Chrome, but now it hovers around 50 degrees when doing the same thing. That's a thirty-degree improvement in temperature! When playing KSP, it stays around the high 70s/low 80s, which is hotter, but still low enough that the CPU doesn't freak out and start throttling performance. Once it got into the low 90s, but that was with CPU usage at 100%, so I'm not too worried about it. Unfortunately the latch mechanism that holds the screen in place when the laptop is closed is now a bit unreliable, but I can live with that. I'm just happy that my laptop is finally working as intended
  11. Yeah. Maybe there's no life support per se, but having a sustainable source of food is one of the requirements for Kerbal civilians to want to live in your colony.
  12. I believe the standard variant is getting a revamp too, so it will still look good without having to use the flag variant.
  13. I mean, Elon said at some point that Tesla could build Cybertrucks out of Starship-surplus steel, so it's not too far-fetched...
  14. Some more Starship components have been spotted - a downcomer and a thrust section. We don't know which SN they're going to be for yet, but I'm guessing SN9 (since SN8 will probably be another test tank).
  15. So do I, but that doesn't mean I don't find the failures impressive when they do happen
  16. Indeed. Also, Starship prototypes popping is still more impressive
