  1. These supply missions clearly aren’t going to be following a real trajectory. It will simply look that way.
  2. That persistent load out options just ensures that your Kerbals always carry the same equipment every time you use them. Otherwise it always switches it back to an EVA/Parachute.
  3. I am okay if this wins thread of the year.
  4. [snip] Figure out how to reproduce the bug reliably, and/or provide a save file with the bug that still has the issue after loading the game and put it in the post on the bug tracker; if you want that bug fixed that is, otherwise the devs may never be able to reproduce it and if so they will never fix it.
  5. I mean you say that but *waves hands in the general direction of the Internet*.
  6. At 144 bytes this might be one of the smallest patches I have ever had on Steam lol.
  7. Unless you have marketing data to back up your assertions you are essentially just guessing. I know plenty of people in real life that aren't interested in KSP because it isn't based on the real solar system and you can't fly real rockets, but that anecdote is no more valid than your speculation. The only people to my knowledge that are capable of making such an assessment (assuming they haven't already) is Private Division.
  8. Ya that is fine by me. As long as it is more functional, I don't care if it is manual or automated.
  9. That is fair. However if there are no valid solutions that can be created to help with manual planning, then logically the only other solution is some form of automation to do it instead. I don't care either way which path that might be.
  10. My idea is that a sphere would be created at the PE point of the patched conics, and then it would be dragged along that virtual sphere attempting to maintain roughly the same PE altitude.
  11. That is perfectly fine, so limit the dV requirements to within a reasonable threshold, which may only allow a small area within it can be adjusted Its not intended to be a replacement for maneuver nodes, its intended to remove the fiddling that goes along with them. (Just a reminder the definition of that word is "annoyingly trivial or petty.") Really, if people are arguing against adding QoL features that can used to remove annoyances, I gotta question what their motives are, because that is pretty ridiculous.
  12. We shall see. Too bad this forum doesn't have a RemindMe! feature.
  13. If fiddling with maneuver nodes is going to be the basis of KSP 2, then I am going to be very disappointed.
  14. Oh its pretty cool you get to play KSP 2. I assume you must have an NDA so can't tell us anymore about it. Shucks.
  15. There is almost no point in ignoring someone completely because Invision is such trash it specifically says "You've chosen to ignore content from ..." inline with the rest of the posts, completely ruining the point of ignoring someone.
  16. Some sort of logic would be handy, but definitely not logic gates, that is far too low level. Basic stuff like storing solar panels/antennas if an atmosphere pressure science part detects pressure, for example, or deploy radiators if the internal temperature of a part reaches a certain value, auto-enable fuel cells if electricity is 0 and you aren't in time-warp, and disable at a set value or after a set time, etc.
  17. Hmmm, I revise my earlier statement, perhaps. Its a bit unclear . https://www.privatedivision.com/portfolio/squad/
  18. Learn something new everyday, had no idea this was a thing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shock_diamond
  19. You can get full access to the Unity source code too you know. It’s a simple license agreement with them. And I have my suspicions Intercept did exactly that.
  20. Well yes I am aware they existed on that main website. But since the website isn’t the forums, those articles are not the reason all the dev diary posts on the forum are dated when they were originally posted.
