    So now I guess I do this run later, Upgrades have to made to the Athena

  3. Update for @Mouhand:I am GO for craft download and I need to figure out how it'll work with BDAc's AI systems. Then, I'll tack some realistic armament and see how it performs. Then they fight. If @ColdJ allows me, I'd like to download one of his craft to see how they'd fare too. I'm sure I'm coming pretty much dead last but we'll see if a couple of hardpoints and a few more missiles can remedy that.

  4. Update x (I lost track): I have built the greatest multirole fighter to ever come out of Draconic Industries's hangars.

    I just sunk a whole damn Aircraft carrier with all 10 missiles (4 Cruise, 4 Sidewinders, 2 Tomahawk or optionally 2 Exocets but I can fit more armaments), the GAU-8 Cannon, and is still somehow extremely mavouerable. 

    I might just pit it against @Mouhand's great F/A-18 if he allows me to, just to see if my Draconic Athena II (lots of variants but of course I will use the most powerful variant) might come out on top (or crash and die within 20 seconds which is more likely).

    This is surprisingly similar to mine, I just have a lot of naval mods and every single Near Future Mod.

    What version of KSP do you use? I use 1.10.1 but i'm soon going to upgrade to 1.11.0 so I can install Aviator's Arsenal and some others

  6. Update:

    Pulled an Allnighter and made most of the craft.

    It's 200 meters long, weighs about 20,000 tons. Can carry 15 fully armed fighters (5 rows of 3) or 5 large bombers.

    Can somehow do 100m/s but it's modded extensively.

    oh and it has about 900 parts but we don't talk about that and my computer's cries of pain.

  8. I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But the new craft has vanished as it's save file got corrputed.

    I have no longer got it

    But it was 367.6 Meters long, could have 5 medium fighters or one massive bomber side by side and about 10 rows of it in it's underdeck hangar.

    It weighed 16,470 Tons with fuel (for the planes) and uranium loaded. It is modded and uses Procedural Parts, Near Advanced Electronics (for the Reactors) and TweakScale for the enormous size. It was at 377 parts at the time of the crash and my last save is before I started work on the Superstructure and Runway.

    Mine too, I only just built the base of the new carrier and it already clocks in at ~450 Tons and ~200 parts.

    Mind you it's the keel, and the sides of the main hull only. I haven't built the armour belt or fuel tanks. 

    My PC will probably eject itself into low Eeloo Orbit soon

  10. A plausible way to end world hunger is to break down biowaste into the key components of Hydrogen, Oxygen and Carbon and other elements. Fusing those elements to form chains of molecules that eventually become Amino Acids, Proteins, Glucose, Starch, Ethanol and so on. These individual constituents can be fused yet again to make small little artificial foodstuff like carbohydrate balls which can be flavoured to create bread or so on and meat without needing to grow animals which is a waste of energy and farmland. Sure we'd need particle accelerators and billions of dollars worth of techonology but it might be well worth it in the future when food becomes scarcer after water shortages begin.

    This was concocted in one shower over a span of 40-ish seconds.

Get "Aircraft Carrier Accessories" go in and set the rescale = to 3 on 1 of it's carriers and then build on the model all the arrest wires, catapults, fuel ports and landing assist systems. The mod WASD is essential for getting around in the SPH to connect everything.

    I do indeed have this mod, and it's really amazing how useful it is. It reduced the count a lot but how do you get 16fps? I get somewhere in the range of 9
