Alright, there are enough examples to kill you, @Matt Lowne's quad copter, forum space craft exchange has too many to count, Gordon's Workshop, another yt channel, has done some stuff with them, I bet good money Stratenblitz75 has as well. They aren't in depth looks but heres the basic idea. The rotors leading edge or the gray part, has to face the direction of rotation, and when deployed, the back of the rotor must face downward, which is prop/rotor pitch, to make the helicopter go up/down faster. I'd attach a basic set of four main rotors to the main rotor head. As for the tail rotors, I typically take the number of main rotors and -1 for that number, except for 2 bladed helos, like the Bell 206/212 and others. The same rules apply for the tail rotors except the lack thereof of deploying them, for any reason whatsoever. @Gargamel, is this thread eligible to be moved to the spacecraft exchange??

[Stock] 30 sec Altitude Challenge!
Mikenike replied to Mars90000000's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
@Mars90000000, Bradley Whistance or whatever made it to orbit in 33, he was at like 65ish K at 30 seconds. Add that on there as well. Or Bradley, who made it to orbit in 33, he was at like 65k at 30 seconds. REEEEEEEEEEEEBOOT -
Oh.

Chasing Dreams: Reimagining the Space Shuttle
Mikenike replied to RandomSciFi's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Pretty good so far. I like the alternate history of it. Are you taking some outside ideas for this, or actually re-doing history after the Apollo program? -
Are the airbrakes at the top, or at the bottom???

Deflate the inflatable heat shield.
Mikenike replied to Vanamonde's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
They have animations for it??? You can deflate the shield in the VAB??? I am now very curious, like Curie-ous. I would also like to hear the stories about heat shields destroying craft. Use tweakscale and down size the Mite SRB. or just haul a full size one if you don't have the mod. -
Need a Laythe water capable ship
Mikenike replied to strider3's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Take a look at Matt Lwne, I think he did a video with something like that about a year ago. -
Deflate the inflatable heat shield.
Mikenike replied to Vanamonde's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Once you are in Eve's atmosphere, just point retrograde with the craft, which is not ideal, I know, and seperate from it. Seems simple, right, wrong, Eve's atmosphere is thick, like THICC so it is hard to spin the craft around, and is also dangerous, because spin and other fun real world problems, but not entirely impossible. The COM has to be really far back, but not unstably far back, and I suggest the smallest SRBs to bring the shield away from the craft. Because the Mite SRB has a considerable amount of fuel in it, as @Matt Lowne found out in his Shuttle in 1.8.1 video. (I think, I am probably wrong though). -

What’s the first thing you’ll do in ksp2?
Mikenike replied to Lewie's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Sounds about like what I do, just screw off in atmosphere, and I absolutely love it, because I dont have to worry about POOFING Kerbals, I got EVA chutes, and they are never stuck in orbit, ever. My second favorite space game. Its fun, requires you to think, and is really cool. -
totm october 2020 Threads of the Month October 2020
Mikenike replied to Geonovast's topic in Threads of the Month
I love the fact that even this amazing thread celebrating threads isn't even safe from the offest of off topic posts. -
I'm fine with the easter egg, but I hate to say I think it is a highlight, because you can see a reflection on the other helment visors. Yes, but it is much more inefficient than your conventional LF/OX engine, or the NERVAs, which in there very nature are only efficient in niche roles and in large amounts.

I saw that, but I wanted to get the gears of people's brain working.

Can you answer as to why the Kerbman's eye is red?? Or would you rather stay out of that rabbit hole? I absolutely am on board with the generator idea, as long as I can't kill my Kerbs with it. @Nate Simpson, will we be able to terraform different planets to fit Kerbals? And will there be a goldilocks type planet in a different solar system? Maybe some ruins on another planet, hinting at a past civilization.

@Master39, did you see my post previous to that one in this thread??

I hate it when people do that!!!! Some people can't download them (CONSOLE PLAYERS, and lower end PCs).
