  1. Lost the two main characters on my Mission Log saga, they were on ladders and I recovered vessel. Anybody know what happened to them?
  2. I agree with @ResonantWaves here, it would be great to have it finished.
  3. Chapter 2 Malus was overworked and underpaid with all but the rover tests going bad.The launch site which was destroyed in the Lerger 2 disaster, was declared out of service, permanently. Meaning that the craft they launched for 2 years, would be shipped and reassembled at the launch site. To him that meant one thing, budget cuts. In other news, the SPH was housing a lab, called "BatHabLab" for its three modules into one, with another hab that has to be attached once at deployment site. Meanwhile, Gene Kerman had terrible news delivered to him. Gene's wife had a heart attack. When he was presented this news, he told Dr. Von Kerman that he would be out for the rest of the week. He then ran outside and grabbed a "Leopard" rover racer, and raced towards the hospital. Ensel Kerman was relaxing under the cosmos, along with fellow test plot and friend, Jebidiah "Jeb" Kerman. Ensel, breaking the silence,"Jeb, when do you think we will go to the Mun?". Jeb, in a serious tone," 'We choose to go to the Mun... We choose to go to the Mun... We choose to go to the Mun in this decade and do the other things; not because they are easy, but because they are hard.' - John F. Kerman, but sometime this decade Ensel, sometime.
  4. I will write the next chapter this weekend. I forgot to bring the paper that has the next chaptsr on it. It will be up on Thursday. I lie, will post chapters two and three tonight tomorrow respectively.
  5. Preface: This series follows Head Engineer of the rover department, Malus Kerman, and the chief test pilot for Malus' rovers, Ensel Kerman. Dosy's first mission disaster was caused by my horrible SRB and decoupler use. This series will not include pics, I am sorry for this but I play on console. This series will mention other characters and their exploits with other fields of KSC's programs. I plan to let the readers decide whether they want another Chapter to be written. I need a new title for this Saga, what do you think it should be? Chapter One: Malus was sitting at his desk when it happened. A rover that was tride and true, had flipped, which destroyed all but the command station. The rover, a "Bee" Bull No. 1 had gone too fast and initiated a violent turn, which caused the weight to shift and make it flip. Mission Control, commanded by non other than Gene Kerman, had dispatched Jeb, Val, Bob, and Bill to rescue Dosy Kerman, an egineer returning to the SPH after a meeting at the R&D facility. Dosy was unharmed but the rover was totaled. Dosy had a long history with mishaps and disasters, starting just days before, with his first assignment, which he, Ensel, and Dilvan, were lucky to have escaped. The placement of the decouplers was wrong, causing the SRB's to fall inwards, hitting Fuel tanks and engines, exploding on impact. The abort stage saved them, if Dosy had hit the button an split second later, he wouldn't have helped save three Kerbonauts. Hendred Kerman came in "Bee" Bull No. 5 to pick up the survivors. On the way back, with Hendred and Ensel, two old friends, catching up on the Comms, Hendred hit a bump at 66 M/s and hit the water tower closest to the runway, killing Hendred instantly. Jeb, Val, and Bill, went to pick up the three double crash survivors and took them to the hospital wing of the Kerbonaut Complex. The three were clearly shook up. Dosy was sent to the hospital wing for the second day in a row! Meanwhile, the new head of passenger plane development, Delman Kerman, was at a meeting which worried him. The topic of the meeting, who should become the chief rover test pilot. Malus had elected that his friend, Ensel do it. Hendred was the chief test pilot before. Delman stated to the group," Ensel is a great rover pilot and plane pilot, but he has since given up his flying status, both regular flight and spaceflight. And he has started driving rovers because of his friends death, but I have no real objections to him being promoted," The group voted on the matter, Jeb: 4, Ensel: 11. It was the 5th hour of the day, when the promotion ceremony was preformed, and Ensel was proud to head a group of individuals in such an important matter. When it was over, he had authority of 10 other test pilots. Ensel was to test the new "Goose" rover, which was able to carry 36 Kerbals around KSC. Most would be reserved for evacuation of larger residential areas or complexes. He would also be testing "Bee" V2 later. He would then file a lengthy report on the design, stability, and other important features to be sent to the engineers for redesign and improvement.
  6. Make sure to give him 75% credit @lapis.
  7. Cool, what is the ballast you are using exactly, I see no holding tanks or anything of that such.
  8. Mine has SRB trouble, and the fact that I don't have experience in STS style crafts.
  9. I will be starting a Mission log type thread of my KSP exploits. I will be doing it in sandbox mode, for sake of all ease. I will start the story a few days into the first year of my game.

  10. Very nice @Geonovast, very nice. I am working on a Buran type shuttle right now, but haven't been able to do much with it ( it isn't the best made craft, I have an unmanned version currently, but haven't tested it yet). What are you using for the abort stage, I don't see and monoprope or thrusters?
  11. I built several rovers, one of which had a top speed of 105 m/s. I also flew my new cargo aircraft out to the Island Airfield and back. Malus Kerman (The chief designer for the rover branch of KSP) flipped his "Bee" rover, and had to come be rescued by Jeb and the crew. I made a larger version of one of @Just Jim's crew rovers from The Emiko Station saga, taking his Mk3 design and enlarging it by 40%. Hendred Kerman took "Bee" bull No. 2 out for a spin and he hit a bump at 66 m/s and hit the water tower closest to the runway, killing him instantly. Ensel Kerman had his hard times as he visited his close friend's grave (Hendred). The night Hendred died, Ensel was sitting in a hitchhiker in the back of the rover he was driving, after experiencing a botched abort landing, which had destroyed the craft that was launching. Yeah, I had a hectic day. Should I start a little Mission Log thread, PM me for an answer? I did this yesterday but couldn't finish as I fell asleep.
  12. As for the Challenge, it will be postponed, due to @adsii1970's sprained ankle, he will be unable to create and send the patch this weekend. Thank you for your patience and support in my first Challenge.

That was last night's Broadcast. Lost track of time and had to cancel it. Sorry. There will be one next Friday though

  14. It has been edited, is there anything else I need to clarify?
  15. Unless I directly say FULL circ. I mean SORTA circ. but I will include it.Also I am sorry for not updating the spoiler, I have just been very busy with summer camps/ reading and trips and such, that I haven't found much time toget on the forums and rewrite evrything thatI need to.
  16. Lack of well placed struts and support pieces.
  17. Challenge update: I am getting the patch sent to me by @adsii1970 this weekend, I will re update the spoiler and fix errors, and send it to @michal.don for his final input, before writing it and posting it later this month.

epic. glad to be a part of it

  18. Oh, great. I knew it was in Germany but couldn't remember where, though it was in Frankfurt, my fault!!
  19. That is really cool! Funny, I always wanted to go to Frankfurt, because of the worlds largest HO scale train layout, now I've got another reason to go.
  20. I am going to contact @adsii1970 about that later, hold on, will PM him in a second.
  21. Hey guys, I got a few questions that concern a challenge I am in the middle of creating. It is a circumnavigation of Kerbol's Ocean ( the one that is closest to KSC). It is like the Kerbin sorta Circumnavigation that @purpleivan has done with a twist. The rough draft is in the spoiler below. Is there anything that I need specify or elaborate on? Is there any thing advice that I could use in writing the challenge? How should I structure the Leader board? The spoiler containing the draft will be edited over time as suggestions come in, via this thread or a PM. Please note that not all of the Level numbers will remain the same, I may add or delete them, or certain rule and regulations that are in the piece. It is just a rough draft.
  22. Or you might have put the rocket together like that, I have done that many many times. Also, why is the rocket so large? Seems like overkill, I re modified a GLDV 3 to carry three hitch hikers as a station with batteries and solar panels, and am going to use it to launch a science area to the station.
  23. It is a triebflügel not a Troubleflügeljäger. And yes, @panzer1b is correct. It probably would have killed its pilots like *cough* the Fi103 *cough cough*. manned guided missiles, yes also known as the Fieseler 103, aka the Fi103. The P.1000 Ratte, a land battleship. with twin 280mm guns with one 128mm gun and two AA batteries, including a toliet, a vehicle bay, and many more features. The flying wing was the Ho229, the US army took two and flew them. Then we made the larger cousin of it, the XB35. Also add less powerful engines to it, that may stop the thrust problem as a Juno doesn't have the thrust to do such a thing. Hey, try to recreate the Me262 as well.
