What have you been playing recently? (Other than KSP)

How are views counted? Are they the # unique people that looked at it? Or is it like every single view, including repeats? -
Ok when I get back, I will redo Avon, it will keep its impact basin (tho it will be smaller), however, there will be much more detailed areas like mountain on the far side, and will have several large craters. Also, should Oyst have a faint brown ring That goes from Avon to halfway to Paxt? I’m thinking it might be a good idea, but then I don’t want an excessive amount of rings. (Yes, rings will be around 3rd planet)

I updated Xaxt's heightmap, and use VoroniCrater pqs mod a bit, and layered it a few times, to create a new cratered look!" Xaxt is the inner moon orbiting Collait in the Estrela Dobre system, it is 45km in radius, with a surface gravity of 0.05g, it is about the size of Pol, but with higher gravity, mostly that it has an unusually large iron core. Despite its higher than pol's gravity, its SOI is very tiny, at only 66km in radius from the center.. It does have some pretty good views of the local system! i also changed the coloring so it looks better. A pic from the surface of Xaxt Due to how close Xaxt is to Correlae, it does present some nice views when the two moons are at their closest points to each other

Can I add my own Easter eggs?
JcoolTheShipbuilder replied to Dr. Kerbal's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
yes -
I created Termania, the second circumbinary moon around Collait&Culair, it orbits a bit furtther, and despite Petrichor's lore saying that its water migrated to Termania, most of it actually missed. Termania is slightly smaller than Kerbin at 550km radius, has 0.95g, BUT unlike Petrichor, it has a surface pressure of 1.4atm, and has a thick atmosphere. Termania's red oceans are caused by large amounts of iron oxide in its water. Lorewise, its oceans were blue-green due to dissolved iron, until oxygen producing microorganisms evolved and started producing oxygen that reacted with the iron, turning it red. The life is only unicellular, living majority in the oceans, but there is life on land, mostly in the low lying areas, giving it a pinker hue. there is no surface life at 6000m or above. The surface temperature is a temperate 282K, mostly due to greenhouse effect keeping most of the heat. the atmo color is blue-green Termania has many large canyons to fly around in, this is in the longest canyon, it stretches at least 200km Pic of the side with less oceans, it has the canyon near the top in the pic. The life staying in the low lying areas is noticable. flight is easier on this world than on Kerbin and here is a zoomed in pic from one of Termania's oceans, with Petrichor at its closest point. and this is a pic of the binary gas giants and the two circumbinary moons' orbits

hmm thats some good advice, i will use it for the gas giants

now that Petrichor is about complete, I’m going to create Termania, a slightly smaller than Kerbin circumbinary moon, which will have red oceans from very recently evolved oxygen producing microorganisms creating oxygen that reacts with the iron in the oceans, creating red iron oxide there will be little bit of life scattered on land, but most will be on shorelines

Is it normal to start thinking of names of the next system while creating a moon’s lore (and I haven’t done the next two planets and four moons of various sizes lol)? im thinking that it’s normal… however it’s unlikely the other system will get to release before I’m going to college.

Presenting: Petrichor A cold desert (262K surface temp), 650km radius, 1.05g, and a thin atmo at 0.4 atm at surface extending 50km, the highest terrain is at 17km. Lorewise, it was not always a desert, thousands of years ago, it was once named "Edon", had a thriving ecosystem, lush plant life, thick atmosphere, large oceans, a large interstellar civilization existed, unfourtinatley, that ancient civilization and another civilization in a different system got into a massive war, which ended up wiping out Estrela Dobre's civilization back into the stone age, the Archenar system's civilization was knocked back almost to the stone age, but they are known to be peaceful now, and in the process, Edon got glassed (the other system also got ravaged), and lost its water and the majority of its atmosphere. Now, its known as Petrichor, (i have soundtrack editor on and suddenly happy/exciting music started just now wot lmao), an arid desert world. The now pre space age civilization lives in vast underwater cities on the next moon out, which got flooded by the water that was shed from Petrichor. Few ruins remain. Its name is Petrichor I did explore it Flying over the Richat Structure and then i flew through its canyons (there are only a few straight bits) Also, the canyon i flew through had 3km high walls And flew north to the plateaus These are some of the biggest sand dunes on the planet! 1km tall! also, the ares 4a struggled to fly at the plateaus with the default laythe atmosphere, but now that it has a much thinner 0.4atm, it will likely not be able to fly subsonic there lol Here is the glassy plains, the last remaining evidence of the interstellar war (there are no derelict spaceships in orbit or on the ground in either system anymore) now im going to make the next moon, will be slightly smaller than Kerbin, and be kinda like Correlae, but with more water Petrichor was made in the latest update of my mod, Estrela Dobre system.

Hmm… I’m thinking of redoing Avon’s heighmap, since it is currently very smooth… kinda. its impact basin is ok, but can be a little smaller, and having craters inside it.
