Ok, I found a solution to the anonymous problem. There's a tab in account settings that switches it now. There's an option at the bottom of the page to change the theme to something slightly less bright. Go to "Theme" and change it to "Default." EDIT: The KSP logo is still obscured.

Yeah, my thread got reset for some reason, along with nearly all of my posts today. Ok, issues that I have: No "sign in anonymously" button on login The default profile picture has changed to a human Profile pics have been cropped into a circle Things are way too bright

Strange. The fora seems to have reverted. I confused OSIRIS-ReX with the Hayabusa missions, my mistake.

What's the thrust of the GIT? The mission looks really cool; people really need more information on asteroids. I'm definitely going to tune in for the TAG.

I don't think so, and, in fact, I would think it would be detrimental to do so. If it's spinning, you can just extend an arm above the surface, let go, and boom: the payload is in orbit. Use it as a radiation shield. Bring it back to Earth initially to get funding for your mining company, then eventually you can use the mined resources only for space-based things. I don't see why you need a heritage site for a planet. It's international waters, and what's so special that people need to preserve it? We don't know because no missions have been flown to the Trojans, although there's 1 funded mission (Lucy) and a proposed solar sail mission (JAXA).

What music do you listen to while playing KSP?
Entropian replied to Scenter102's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Plain ol' Scott Joplin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. -
Rep is a meaningless internet like designed to make people feel better about themselves. I don't see why the forum even needs the dot count.

For Questions That Don't Merit Their Own Thread

Not at all. Muscle tissue only reacts and extends so fast. Maybe it could dodge by luck, but it's really just trading one random chance of being hit for another. -
Could we track approaching alien ships?

It might cool itself to conform to the CMBR; that would hide it really well.- 15 replies

Dres may be hard at first, but it's some good practice for other bodies.

Looks like an intriguing design. A problem that I can think of is that the Martian dust and sand may wear away and jam the interlocking and retraction mechanisms, although I would expect this could be solved easily.

Just pointing out that VASIMR doesn't have to be powered by a fusion reactor. Fission will do.
