  1. Hello! This is my first publicly released TUFX config and my first topic on the forums so bare with me here. This config aims to have a realistic neutral tone without looking blown-out or bland. Here's what it looks like Alright you probably get the idea now. Looks good in RSS, KSRSS, as of 1.3 stock beyond home, etc look good now! There are currently 3 configs with HDR variants of each, Cold (The standard config), Warm (A cozier warm config), and Bright (Designed for Lunar expeditions). Non-HDR vs HDR? HDR gives parts a far better shines, increases the color range and adds some sweet engine plumes, it can cause some serious graphical artifacting though so I have one of both. If you know that HDR causes artifacts with your visual set-up go into Gamedata/Fox's Profiles and delete Fox-Neutral-V1.2-HDR.cfg If you want the vintage config head over here. Download (Spacedock) or CKAN. Requires TUFX and Module Manager. Exploration is really the essence of the human spirit. -Frank Borman License: CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 Upload your changes as you wish as long as you credit me and indicate changes were made. Do NOT use for commercial purposes. If you build upon or remix the config it must also be under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Suggestions and Feedback are always welcome feel free to leave a review in the replies! Big thank you to @SovPenguin, @TruthfulGnome, @ZombieZilla, @apempathy, and @AmateurAstronaut1969 for testing and feedback!
  2. At the moment if you are using the standard stock system, OPM will be put where it normally is located If you are using a homeswitch OPM will be put into a different system When the Stock Revamp comes out it will be optional, meaning you can still play the stock system with opm or you can play in the Stock Revamp and opm will be moved to another system.
  3. Sorry to break the streak of new content but here is a Tarsis - 1 Wallpaper! (res is 16:9 just a bit funky)
  4. iirc either Principia disables the jool system change if Koperncius is detected or Kopernicus forces the stock system on top of principia
  5. Mun arches are in the anomaly scatter system and aren't relevant. From what I've heard though they are still using a derivative of PQS, you could make caves by having that be the 'bedrock' layer, then having a terrain layer on top of that like parallax. Right now it is hard to tell if the top terrain layer is anything like the PQS surface underneath. If it applying a couple meters above the pqs (such as in parallax), caves aren't happening, if its 500m~ above the PQS terrain then maybe. The other way to do this is what SNW does and create scatters that create a cave As for generation you have to remember that kerbin still has a surface area of 4.52×106 km, handmade, procedural placed is the way to go. Big issue is load range, too far and you'll kill your fps, too low and your cave base will sink through the ground.
  6. want and have are different things for the question of should, I would love to see caves, but from what I've seen in the way they have set-up planets it isn't possible
  7. Some older stuff directly said no overhangs or caves, but it was from 2019 so it may have changed
  8. From what we have heard you will start by launching and landing smaller base buildings eventually you will get the BAE which allows you to build bases on site
  9. Module Manager 4.2.1 seems to be much more stable than 4.2.0, planets load now so use at your own risk
  10. Attention Stay on module manager 4.1.4 until further notice, it seems to bork kopernicus's ability to spawn planets Thank you
  11. With version 1.1 there was a complete mod restructure allowing for CKAN use and generally better performance. Some 1.0 systems need to be ported and refined to a higher quality as some planets/stars were a bit rushed. Kormann didn't make the cut and it was decided to do a complete overhaul of the system. Local Stars needed its textures refined but is very near to completion. Kax A* is going through a complete overhaul making it closer to its real life analog Sagittarius A, including several stars orbiting it, this will also include an option Galactic Layout option for those that want a KSS style galaxy. This is the cause of the hold up with most of the systems, there are plenty of systems in the current version. I do suggest you take a look at what is there at the moment .
  12. I don't think there is a way to reach the stars using stock parts within a reasonable time frame. if you do not wish to use warp mods like Blueshift I suggest FFT.
  13. Nope, I don’t think kopernicus has this ability yet, when it does we’ll look into it
  14. Afaik this is a kopernicus bug and there is nothing that BH or GU can do to fix this
