Or bugs without colliders, but you can interact with them for inventory purposes by pressing f so you can put items in their inventory, and they only are on laythe or eve. -

Create birds but give them no colliders, you just phase through them. -

(DEPREACEATED DUE TO PART COUNT) A humongous leap, I now have a 1000 part mother ship and my computer can load it, and I have already made landers for it. No pics since I’m on mobile. Working on all the life support stuff. -
Caveman my Nano-crystalline Diamond attempt

I'm not intrested in the caveman challenge as im designing a grand tour kerbalism ship, but might be nice at some point. You theoretically could save bob by doing a super low orbit. On rails, you can't collide into things. -
You might have issues with ion engines and how they always need sunlight. This is a serious problem if your on the dark side of an orbit. However, there are many easy ways to fix this problem. 1.RTGS:They're heavy and reduce acceleration, as well as expensive and can irradiate the crew in life support mods, but this is one solution. 2.Fuel cell powered ions. This reduced the ISP to a mere 1200, but its nice to add 1 or two dumplings and a single fuel cell for backup power. 3.This is the easiest. Just start from a higher orbit. Not only will you have more time to do the burn, but the time in shadow relative to the orbital period is low. 4.Perapisis kicking. For the ones who are really stingy about fuel, perapisis kicking is helpful, but when you have 50,000 delta-v, would simply spending 1000dv to enter a higher orbit be way easier? 5.Batteries. Not very practical, for a ship entirely made of batteries and irgnoring xenon, you can get a max of 3000dv. Still, helpful for emergency manoeuvres or in Kerbalism where fuel cells can fail any moment. 6. Staged batteries. Good for Vall landers, not much else. I hope this helped you!

(DEPRECEATED) Great progress on a protoype. It has 22,000 dv. not enough for my purposes, but I'll add more xenon. However, it needs to be greatly scaled up to fit the sheilds. -
Some small 20 minute animation might be fine. Maybe use it as an easter egg, it can only be found in a hard drive found in the Mohole. It shows Jeb fighting the kraken on Bop.

Kind of a let down but we just had a huge update. Its ok.

My idea would be a 100 fairing attached to eachother, but no fairing it self, we dont want it aerodynamic, -

(DEPRECEATED) I'll also double the height, using science labs and rockomax 64's since active shields are short and wobbly as an impromptu structural tube. and consider part welding, my computer is just fine so far, but there was no shuttles or etc. It's gonna be a slideshow. TL;DR: Never use active shields as structural elements. -
(DEPREACEATED) Works on solar panel and active shield, solar panels flop and the active shields wobble like a sad Christmas tree you found in someone's trash can. Seems like the kraken doesn't like 1600 840ec/s at Jool. I have a great desktop so it worked, but started to flop once physics loaded and the bottom arrays exploded and then the whole thing spontaneously combusted, 600-700 solar panels is a lot, at Eeloo I have 200ec/s worst case and 600ec/s best case. I can sustain shield anywhere! There were so many I just made 1 solar array and used alt+click to copy it. I'll fix this by not layering the 120 shield on top of each other, dividing them into 5 piles, and then subdivide those 5 piles into 5 piles with 4x symmetry and clipping. I'll also make it taller, and the solar arrays not having 17 gigantors, its too much(they weight 0.45 tons each). I'll make it have 9.
