  1. Maybe they come in an update, but by default they will not appear(go to settings). They come rusty, but it can be toggled. They also have funny easter eggs(oh the ftl krakening).
  2. I worry that this is going to become dead. No offense, but you need to start putting some insane stunts here.
  3. Then what if all the galaxies orbit a star that is impossible to escape, and calculations are done like in KSP 1?
  4. Maybe a beta with no ability to fly or rocket but it shows all the engines and parts and vab and sph and whatever they have.
  5. Those two nodes are placeholder nodes(for mods to use without creating new nodes to make their job easy) that the games has hidden, and only mods can make them appear by asking for them. Kerbalism doesn't use them, they cannot be researched without a mod using it, but due to glitches can be found from monoliths. Cannot be seen once researched however. You researched everything else, so this means that these two are the only nodes available, and both are hidden from the r and d, so the monolith will give you this. (the placeholder nodes are so modders can use the tech tree without the community tech tree mod) Update:thanks for the rep!
  6. And oh, i just loaded this quicksave and realized there is only one ignition left on the poodle, an two on the thuds? Odd, poodle has 15 ignitions and thud 12. Glitches.

  8. (Why was I so stupid to make a 400 ton eve lander?) Apparently Kerbals have started believing fuel tanks have a soul and abandoning them in space prevents them from going to Keaven or Kell, so I will do fully reusable except for eve and launching(The boosters crash and go to Keaven or Kell). The Booster Protection Party won the election and ordered us to make it so that all boosters will eventually deorbit. I won't send the mothership to all planets, but I will send it on the same trajectory as @kingofnowhere and his Dream Big. Here comes the fuel train choo choo. It has 6 booster there that have about 762 dv with ~1 twr. Not enough, so I will triple the number of boosters, and add deorbit Sepratrons. I will dock as many as I can and then add the hab module, which is "borrowed" from Bolt. I consider it fine since it isn't an exact replica, I did some upgrades such as extorbitant amounts of docking ports and better sheilding, and some asthetics things as well as a gravity ring. This you are seeing is just the third stage and payload. Will upload better screenshot. Eve lander is called GTFO mk1. Testing pics(Really overengineered with 2700 dv and I agree, but moar DV can fix anything. Can handle failures of any engine with excessive twr, and can theoretically handle less than 1 twr with wings, if in upper atmo.)(gauge is lying, im in stable orbit. Look at the navball and see where prograde is. Sorry for no map view) Also started from 10000meter mountian, but production version will have propellors.
  9. The Nerv is already endgame and is too OP, you can literally do a grand tour with 25% mass fractions on those if you just wait and use gravity assists. I would tolerate open cycle nuclear engines with 1000 ISP but they release radioactive material and cannot burn forever. Maybe they can only burn 1 hour and thrust reduces over that time. I would enjoy a low expansion ratio NERV with a higher TWR and thrust ASL than in vaccum(I imagine it takes IntakeAir as well) for SSTO's to be simple(no rapiers needed), but no need for my pipedreams. Eg. It has 600 ISP ASL and a TWR of 5 and in VAC and a ISP of 450 and a TWR of two. Ability to reach 2200m/s in atmo with 50% mass not being the NERV and 3000m/s with just a fairing and probe core.
  10. A keyboard. Use it to activate the fuel cells and detach the leaking module. Then remote control the space plane from Minimus and dock it after coming back. Rapiers ran out of ignitions and there is no RCS so I dock a service module to the space plane with the console and deorbit. Then the hydraulics goes offline and I activate the reaction wheels. Missions success after balancing fuel for a safe landing.
  11. Yes, they are considered exploits b/c of their 100000 lift to drag ratio at 45 degrees. Not lying it really is 100 thousand.
  12. Predict 200 kg ones can be made but with non existent range, just enough for takeoff. A probe core is 40 kg, rwheel 50 wing 50 and motor and propellor for takeoff vtol. Then solar and battery. Flag can be used as wing, very light.
  13. Update, moved winglets to core booster to fit it in a faring. Encapsulated and will add wings and propellers as well as a deorbit kit(only two ignitions for mammoth)
  14. I just want two word. EVE SUCKS. Even more taxing with limited engine ignitions. And the gauge is lying, I'm in a stable orbit, besides, even if I was lying, there is so much dv and 5 redundant engines, with 2 ignitions more on the thuds and 12 more on the poodle. I call it GTFO mk1, here it is, it is a lander for my Kerbalism grand tour. MK2 will fit in a faring(will move fins to center core) and will have a Eve Electroglider drop it. Progress is good. My lander is bootleg kingofnowhere but I did a lot of modifications to it. Work on glider and fairing, and considering cool ideas for this. Will use inflatable heatshield to protect it. Its hard to make and eve lander that can take off if one engine fails, so I modified it so that the rocket has and excessive 0.5 twrI believe. Then I can shut off/limit engine's thrust limiter the opposing engine to get rid of twisting forces and reach orbit with the second stage's excessive margin. I can handle a center engine failure with ease and a booster failure with some stress. I'm proud.
  15. Maybe a 1200 ISP engine but it won't ignite unless its is 100 meters from any Kerbals. Useful for giant colony ships. Price is a terrible twr and weak thrust. Won't be surprised if the hot new SSTA has this by exploiting girders to create the distance
  16. Sorry if what is said was interprted as rude. Maybe having part have a burned look after reentry(toggleable, default off) would be cool.
  17. A mod that adds Kerbin Politics(Lobbying, funding, and all the myriad of issues) would be nice.
  18. I have an idea. Instead of rad shielding, you just put all the crew in rad detox and control it with a probe? When coverage is out and you have Kerbals in passenger pods, they can be transferred, you have limited control, then transfer them to cupola for control.*insert Hal-100 reference here*
  19. I'll allow BDArmory but only missiles and a seperate leatherboard. Panther has fast throttle control so I don't expect much goliaths.

  21. Nuclear gas core doesn’t fit into the game well, we already have raptor vacuum, wolfhound, it won’t work in atmo but it has same isp and thrust I believe, just 8x as heavy. I’ll give u rep since I feel sorry for u. Besides, we don’t want some op super nuclear engine with 3000 isp.

Challenge I want you to land a 747 style plane with part of its wing missing after being hit by a terrorist surface to air missile, and with no hydraulics(working control surfaces, feel free to lock them) Only allowed engine is goliath and panther in wet mode(gimbal locked), no gimballing(no servos you cheeky monkey) it is ok to angle engines slightly upward for roll control. No reactions wheels, and no brakes or reverse thrust, the thrust reverser is offline. Make the missile yourself, include screenshot before and after. More points for more wing missing, no VTOL. FULL STOCK P.S. Hyperediting a damaged plane into flight is ok, you removed some wing panels in the VAB. Impress me: Land an SSTO with any engine, no gimbal, no VTOL, no rocket(except in vacuum) landing gear is critically damaged and only the right side extends, no control surfaces(just lock them, using them above 40 k is ok(Imagine the hydraulics burned)) and disable reactions wheels, no Oxidizer or Monopropellant(no RCS or k-drive) I tolerate crumple landing gear on the left side(but only extend once and you cannot brake, and it has to be attached to a BG/stock hinge that allows it to collapse on landing.) In IRL planes without hydraulics landing gear may collapse, in some planes. STOCK, BG and MH ok. BADGE SOON.

Nerv is a mere 7k, lab 6k, cupola 2k, solar 6k, fuel 80(not sure) funds(fuel is dirt cheap), hitchiker is 6k, enough money remaining for a munar hopper with a lander can and 132 units of lfox combined, just carry 66 units of ox and 1934 of lf, use remaing lf to fuel the lander, srb only launcher to get into lko. If i must have exactly 1000 unit lf, 1000 units ox, then fill it with both, and use drainvalves in orbit, maybe so its not a total waste use them as high thrust emergency engines, though with an isp of a mere 18 tweaked by a KAL-1000 your going nowhere much, maybe docking back to the lander, i bet you'll have 20 m/s
