  1. When 5 dots old you get to be, look as good you will not. hmmm. There is no try, there is only do. @Admiral Fluffy
  2. That is strange. According to the Dot progression Gargamel put up @Dientus should have 4 dots. I know @Admiral Fluffy is woking towards having 4.
  3. Damn, intercepted by Dientus, that was a short volley @Spaceman.Spiff
  4. Granted. All good computers now live on cloud 9, far from us, so we only get the bad ones. I wish for you to have a seriously creative wish.
  5. Interesting progression. Any way to get to being a 6 dot Fleet Admiral?
  6. Starting to think KSP 1.12.1 is cursed. I had managed to get the lights and animation working together on the Orbital Tug mod and was seeing if I could make the Otter sub and Kerbin Rover work the same way. When I tried I kept getting the last part I had previously picked stuck on my cursor. I restarted my computer and it refused to even get to Bios. 2 hours later and I was working again. Been trying to get more stuff copied to the external drive, but I am wondering if it will all be useless, as if this computer truly dies I can not afford to build a new one. Sigh.

It definitely sounds like hardware issues. If you have cloud storage or external USB drive, I recommend backing up everything.

External yes. I don't do online storage for many different reasons. I am trying to make sure that all the important stuff is copied. The part of me who thinks the universe doesn't like me is sure once everything is copied, that the external will die too. Sigh!

  7. Granted. But with his extreme metabolism he eats everything before you get a chance to. I wish my computer would stop finding new ways to die.
  8. Was working fine for me. Tested it repeatedly. When you start set the UnDock and decouple of both ports to a single action and use it to decouple. Sometimes if you use just 1 side it then means the other side then gets the priority next time you redock. Unless you changed the config or are using a mod that is overiding normal docking with an MM patch, it should work.
  9. Waiter:Sorry can't watch that as IPhones die as soon as they get wet. Customer: Waiter there is that giant Octopus monster from the Tom Baker, Doctor Who seasons in my soup.
  10. I am also a total noob, but as DDS files are read upside down compared to png. Try flipping your image vertically (saved upside down, and I mean flipped vertically, not rotated)before importing it in and see if the texture is now in the right places.
  11. As I am not a lawyer, that is sensible. Wasn't talking legal technicalities, just common sense. You should always get legal ADVICE from someone who profits from getting it right.
  12. 17 hours and nothing so guess not. Hello @Dientus. I think 1.12.1 might be cursed. Now my bios would even load anything for a couple of hours.
  13. Waiter: Yes it is a tropical fish and they like the warmer climate. Customer:Waiter their is a Souperman in my soup.
  14. That is weird. @Caerfinon. Any insights for this member. I am at a loss as to why they are spawning on the ground instead of in the air. Although. I wonder what did you set the launch pad as? If not "other" then maybe it is auto to ground if you have set it as a launch pad?
  15. No. Locked? Customer: Waiter there is the entire Kerbol system spiraling in their orbits in my soup.
  16. Waiter: No @Stormpilot. That is actually @The Doodling Astronaut's megathread in your soup. It just looks ready to explode. Customer: Waiter, there is a Gluon Gun in my soup.
  17. Waiter: That is actually a Weeping Angel from Doctor Who. Don't Blink. Customer: There is a T.A.R.D.I.S in my soup.
  18. Did you raise it up or snap it to ground? You have to put it at the height you want to spawn in at. I have set one 20km up to launch unpowered gliders in my time with no worries. As to the throwing you back. Try it visible. It may be quirk. I have had times when KK mucks up and my view is spinning up in space with no craft in sight. Or it has thrown into the orbit of Kerbol. That is why I save often.
  19. Hi @RealTimeShepherd Certain parts need to have what they can do activated in your 3d modeling software to work. If you know your way around said software you could probably look at a docking port and see what you needed. For those like me that can't there is a way around it. There is a process called "Part Stacking" where you put the pathway of another model in it's MODEL brackets after the first. The first model in the config will show up but in most cases the second won't, I have had a few exceptions but usually if you scale that second model right down you are right to go. When you look through the config that I am giving you you will see how it is done. This has been tested in 1.10.1 and works fine with no sign of the Docking port Jr. The docking port allows the model to use the Docking Module. It converts the largest decoupler into a docking port. The only side affect is when you redock the meshes of the 2 ports crossover, but it doesnt stop them from undocking again. Compare what I have done to Decoulpler_3 to see what you need to do if you want to create other sizes. Create a new text file in GameData\Squad\Parts\Coupling\ and call it Decoupler_Dock.cfg and paste in the following. The smaller node that the little triangle on the decoupler points to is the docking side. If you want this in 1.12.1 then you will need to import the docking port Jr folder into the GameData folder of your KSP from an older version and then correct the pathway of the second model so that it can find the mesh. Good luck.
  20. Granted. This is all a dream I wish I could still eat doughnuts. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm doughnuts! drool.
  21. Damn, more wishes I won't corrupt. I wish for the previous 2 wishers,(not me) wishes.
