  2. I'm not grieving. I never bought the game, because I knew it would turn out this way. I just don't like incompetent liars who fail upwards.
  3. Take Two goons held a gun to Nate's head and compelled him to lie to the public about the state of the game. Poor Nate. He suffers and toils tirelessly like Sisyphus for our sake, and the thanks he gets is to be crucified by the corpos and haters. He tried for our sins. It was probably Take Two suits who forced Nate to push Planetary Annihilation into EA too, before Nate exited from that project. It isn't like Nate had a track record of doing this exact same thing before. Nope, gotta be the corpos behind it all.

What I find pathetic is the community fawning over a self-serving fake apology, where Nate's primary goal appears to be eliciting sympathy from his credulous scam victims. If he wants to honor his NDA, the best way would be to just go away and keep quiet about this. I don't care what Nate has to say, because he's a liar. I never said or implied he should make any statements, because I'd prefer to never hear from him again. Separate point, but Nate should also forget about seeking future employment in the games industry. We don't need more of his EA rug pulls. He should probably pump and dump some penny stocks or meme coins. I think he'd do very well at that.

  11. The last update to the first game was June 2023 -- over a year ago. It is abandonware Early Access. I thought you said these devs were like the old Squad. Color me skeptical.
  12. Let me get this straight. Spaceflight Simulator was released into Early Access in February 2022. Spaceflight Simulator is still in Early Access, and they're also announcing that a sequel (Spaceflight Simulator 2) is currently being developed (presumably to launch into Early Access). Do I have that right? Why is a sequel necessary? They haven't even completed the first title. Seems like yet another cash grab, and extremely exploitative given the current gaming landscape.

  15. Thanks for the information about bots. I didn't know there was really a botting issue. I also, am not a fan of reddit and don't know the ins and outs. For some reason, I caught a permban on reddit. Imagine that I tend to rub people the wrong way online. Back on topic, I should have added that a "Hardcore" option would be nice too. I know it isn't cannon (I guess Kerbals don't need life support according to lore). Still, would have loved a Kerbalism-like hardcore options menu. Kerbalism plays well with Oh Scrap! too. One offers fail states in the background, and the other during flight. However, if they were struggling with re-entry heating, and thought wobbly rockets were core gameplay -- well, I guess these features would have been asking too much. Oh yeah, also disappointed with the lack of krakens slain.
  16. I'll be super nice, and I'll try to remember that subtext can be difficult. It is sometimes even hard to tell when questions are rhetorical, and do not beg an explicit answer. Also, I'll try to get back on topic and make a contribution of my own. I wish more mod ideas were baked into KSP2. I'm a big fan of FPV/IFV. Seeing the control room in KSP2 made me wish it was playable, like the Probe Control Room mod. Also wish there were plans for native Kerbal Construction Time, Scrap Yard, Oh Scrap! These mods just add to the immersion and really adds to the feel of running a real operation.

Except that this is Nate's M.O.: 1) find an older game with a loyal following 2) pitch a spiritual successor or sequel to that game 3) start an Early Access 4) abandon the project after a few updates. His career isn't tarnished. That is his career. It is by design. Some people saw this coming years ago. Why do you think that is?
