  1. I'm 99% sure that doesn't work, case in point - the rotorcraft is in the red zone in one image (KER gives it as 13cm below, but still), but still with the flying low state. Best guess is that either VC does that itself, or it's some variation of the bug I got during the Robau belt mission where the game can randomly give you a 'landed' state after quickloading, which is probably a Kopernicus thing (even if it's stock I don't think that would be allowed - or else you'd end up with everybody pulling this state tech to get splashdown from Pol).
  2. Yeah, this was sorta a scrub. full brief in mission reports tl:dr - couldn't fly, so had to do some aerobatics to get back to jool orbit.
  3. worst part - this was for a jool v im doing (in mission reports). i realised i had kjr installed after getting to jool, and had to restart the whole transfer to qualify for jeb level. lo and behold, kjr wasn't even helping - the rocket was still stable (somehow), so that decision cost me several hours. better than the gt i did where, having done nearly every body, I had to restart after my laythe lander failed to work, losing me about a month's work.
  4. P -23 aight ive caused enough damage for today, good luck on anune-sorlu
  5. Well, I'm doing it during a Jool V, so hitting all the major craters is needed for science. Hopefully this goes better than any driving I've done on Eve - used RoveMax and LEV wheels - did not go well....
  6. Granted: They die off after a minute. i wish to fuse Uranus and Neptune
  7. Thx. The one on the right was built to fit in a Mk3 bay, and is one of the worst driving rovers I've ever built. Potatus2 is part of my ongoing Jool V attempt, since I'm visiting every biome on Tylo, might as well do a full circumnavigation (only like 50% more driving than biomes, so I'll kill two birds with one potatus. It has all those RTGs on for a reason - when cruising, the rover starts to recharge, extending range without charging.
  8. Is this a good Tylo route? (in black, red was bits i chopped off) And the rover I'm using, Potatus2 (on left)
