Yep. My point is that it could be done, although I could see why that is too much of a hassle (and probably wouldn't work right, as if it's tied to rotation of librating body (eccentric orbit). No idea why they KopExp killed them, but I think CKAN has the standalone Comet Tails addon still archived.- 238 replies

Yeah, I'm somewhat conflicted on it though. I personally think that if they gave Kerbin obliquity, they should at least teach the player about launch windows - makes it less frustrating over trial and erroring how to launch from the KSC. (if you can't tell, i have little experience with launching off tilted worlds)

Y1, D174 - Launch of J6 (deja vu) Late Y1 - Corrections and Visual Mods No pics, as this was pretty boring visually. The final course is a Tylo Gravity Assist (TGA) to capture around Jool. Now, in terms of other visual mods, I'm using a Frankenstein's monster of a setup. Parts are Restock, with Kerbals from Texture Replacer. Then there's the Eve-Scatterer setup. AVP is installed, but... Clouds - AVP Dust - AVP Aurorae - AVP Lights - None Skybox - DOE Scatterer - Spectra Scatterer This may be a mess, but it does look quite pretty. Y3 - Jool Arrival Now, both are captured, and ready to begin their missions. I'll let you decide which one goes first. Poll should be up at some point. EDIT - OK, I have no clue how to do a poll - could someone tell me?- 17 replies

I know. The problem still is Kerbin's rotation is inclined relative to the ecliptic, which is realistic but makes interplanetary more frustrating though. I have warmed up to the idea, as long as it's a small tilt (5-7 degrees maybe) Probably the best way to do that, with Lv3 eliminating that entirely, Lv2 breaking down past Kerbin SOI and Lv1 as normal.
