This suggestion for the game's development has been moved to Suggestions and Development Discussion.

On the ship, it leaves no residue. It does, however, separate as an addition piece of space junk.

This was discussed a long time ago, but hasn't been mentioned since, so we don't know the status of the idea. However, it has been discussed so much that more/better IVAs has been placed on our list of things not to suggest again, to help keep forum discussions moving along fresh and productive lines. For that reason, this thread will be closed now.

Why don't we make it a rule that posts here cannot refer to things other forum members have said? Because in the past, threads like this have tended to turn nasty over that sort of thing.

We do have a master thread for in-game pics, waterlubber. Your thread has been merged into it.

Threads can or can't be rated depending on the subforum in which they appear. This was done because it was thought that the system might be abused, though that was before my time, and do not know the specific reasoning for different subforums.

That is an unfortunate occurence, but we already have several threads along this line, such as this one. Please add to those rather than start a new thread.

Hmm. I am not seeing this. I'm using Chrome.

I rarely use anything but the TT-70. The fact that it adds some distance even before separating helps avoid colliding with discarded boosters.

Whenever you encounter a rule that seems silly, you can be darned sure that somebody did something so much dumber that it had to be made against the rules. When Squad used to announce release dates, several things happened. For one thing, everybody charged the store at once at release time, and crashed it. Then they got mad at Squad because the store wasn't working. Also, people got really nasty if a release date was postponed, and accused Squad of being lazy and incompetent. Stuff like that.
