Hello overlordmas. Yes, there is indeed a thread for that mod, as turkwinif has helpfully pointed out. Please refer to the discussion there.
-
Goodness! This thread is a year old! That being said, it's not a time-sensitive kind of discussion, and seems to have started up again. But please remember to check the last posting date before bringing old threads up again, as some of them will have outdated information from previous versions of the game.

Just got an "Explore Ike" contract
Vanamonde replied to biohazard15's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
The contracts are coming from external organizations, and their interests and time schedule are not the same as yours. They want you to test their new jet engine when it's ready for testing, for example, and maybe they're hoping there's a mineral they want on Ike that doesn't seem to be present on Duna. -
Merged into the existing thread for this matter.

Hello and welcome to the forum. But where did you extra 71 neutrons come from?
-
Yes, there's bunches of threads about this now, so let's close this one, shall we?
-
This is a how-to kind of question, even if it was asked just out of curiosity, so, moved to the how-to section.

Intersection Connections
Vanamonde replied to FC230000's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
When you place a part, it is only connected to the part that you stuck it to. The other end of it is not attached to anything, even if it is visibly in contact. No closed loops. The only exception is the EAS-4 strut connector, which must be stretched between two parts. Is that what you're asking about? -
Moved to the off-topic sub-forum.

HarvesteR is a busy guy, and he posts his activity updates as his time allows. He may yet, but either way, there's no need to nudge him about it.

Please disprove the theory of evolution to me
Vanamonde replied to Monkeh's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Evolution is one of my favorite subjects, and believe me I would love to talk about it, but I'm sorry, guys, we can't have our forum discussions delve into the relative merits of religions (2.2.. It's just far too likely to get into arguments. -
Moved to the Space Lounge (and sorry for your plight ).

Hello Floofies, and welcome to our forum. The developers are mostly down there in Mexico City, but modders are thicker than ticks on a dog around these parts, so you should be meeting plenty of them soon.

New member's posts need to be approved by a moderator before they are visible to the public. I don't know why they might have appeared out of order, but it seems to be sorted out now.

New members' posts must be approved by a moderator before they are displayed publicly. I don't know why they might have been displayed out of order, but they should all be visible now. So let's please turn the discussion to the contents of the posts rather than their arrival.

Alas, PoorYorick, we do not know you well yet. But you can fix that by posting more. Hello and welcome to the forum.

Once again, the SAS is to weak
Vanamonde replied to Temeter's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
If your ship is experiencing sourceless rotations, SAS isn't the problem. Have you checked the usual things? Joystick calibrated and zeroed? Trim cleared? Are the instruments indicated input calling for a rotation? SAS isn't designed to stop a rotation if the ship thinks, for whatever reason, it's being told to rotate. -
Next logical step?
Vanamonde replied to Colonel_Sanders's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
If he knew where to fly next, he wouldn't need the advice. Or ask your friendly fellow players, some of whom would enjoy chatting about it with you. Or, you could not let the grumps discourage you and feel free to discuss the game you like. Okay, Dres is not much farther away than Duna, but has no atmosphere to assist you in braking from transit speed. However, Moho has the same problem and is much harder a target to hit because of its speed and orbital inclination. Eeloo is a long trip for which to try to plot the kind of hole-in-one precision you need to achieve an intercept. So probably the next easiest planetary system to visit is Jool and its moons. Both Jool and its moon Laythe have atmospheres you can use to brake, and Jool's SOI is a relatively large target. However, once you get there, you can get bounced around by the crowded moons, so navigating can be quite a trick. Plotting a return to Kerbin from an orbit of a moon is also an added degree of difficulty when you're ready to return. So there's no simple, best answer, but on the whole, I'd suggest Dres, as it is much like a scaled-up version of a trip to Mun. Good luck. -
The Fleet (post your pics here!)
Vanamonde replied to Captain Kirkbal's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Hello Captain Kirkbal and welcome to our forum. I'm sorry to dump a bucket of cold water on your first post, but we already have a number of threads for showing off different kinds of ships, so this thread has been closed for the sake of keeping the forum tidy. We'd be pleased to see your designs shared in the other threads, though. -
Movie and book copyright going against its intended purpose
Vanamonde replied to Sun's topic in The Lounge
Wow did this thread ever get off-topic. Please leave discussions of politics and terrorism for other forums, folks. -
Since this is about actual meteors rather than a game aspect, this thread has been moved to Science Labs.

You can remap the controls to whatever keys you'd like by going to the sub-pages of the settings screens.

KSP Online Platform[Far from Multiplayer]
Vanamonde replied to TYRT's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Jeez, guys. It's possible to dislike a suggestion without being nasty about it. Feel free to post your reasons, but remember that your fellow forum members are people with feelings. -
Can someone recommend my god soundtrack to be used in Mun mission
Vanamonde replied to Pawelk198604's topic in The Lounge
This appears to be more about music than about the game, so, moved to off-topic.
