Well, this thread is now relevant again, with the need for fairings for the new aero model, so yes. Maybe some procedural fairings are fine, but only the caps and base are needed, something like Zero-Point Fairings.

Before the NASA parts came out, I built an incredibly large asparagus 2.5m modded launcher using NovaPunch parts. 300 tons to orbit, usually with fuel in the core stage to spare.

Most of the SLS parts are already in stock as the 3.75m parts, but I wouldn't mind the 4m and 5m parts from SLS. I really like large parts for my launchers.

I've actually never returned from Eve, but there are a few things that you can modify with that lander, like getting rid of the landing gear after you launch. You need as much TWR as you can when returning from Eve. Another tip is to have the lander be separate from a transfer stage so that you can actually return.

SO I was playing KSP 0.90 this weekend, and I was having quite a bit of frustration at how adding parts to custom categories/sub-categories works. You have to repeat 3 steps for every part, and it gets really tiring when you're adding many parts at once. A good way to eliminate this is to add a "Add Parts" button when you are in a subcategory that opens up a window that says to select the parts. In this "Part Selection" mode, any parts you click on in the menus will be highlighted and be added to the selected subcategory when you click on the confirm button.

So it works with 0.90? If it does, update the thread title, it's still on 0.23.5.
