  1. Good idea. Of course, first you have to make up a word for "proton", and a word for "atom".
  2. If you want to communicate with an alien intelligence properly, you could do something like this: ☀â˜Â☀☂☀☀ ☀☀â˜Â☀☂☀☀☀ ☀☀â˜Â☀☀☂☀☀☀☀ ☀☀☀â˜Â☀☀☂☀☀☀☀☀ ☀☀☀â˜Â☀☀☀☂☀☀☀☀☀☀ ☀☀☃☀☂☀ ☀☀☀☃☀☂☀☀ ☀☀☀☃☀☀☂☀ ☀☀☀☀☃☀☀☂☀☀ ☀☀☀☀☃☀☀☀☂☀ And so on. Start simple and work your way up (and to simulate alien intelligences, see if you can interpret it). Random symbols were used, they could represent frequencies of electromagnetic radiation or binary written on spacecrafts, it doesn't matter.
  3. Granted, it explodes. I wish that Estonia was called Bestonia in lojban.
  4. Mediocrity Principle . Xenology is only possible if you assume that life in the universe willl be similar to us.
  5. Nope, you put them in KSP_(insert OS)/GameData/(insert name)/Flags. SQUAD gave you new folder loading thingy, so use it!
  6. I agree but I also think miketheveeg wants a free T-shirt too
  7. On the other hand, it's currently an incomplete ¬(sandbox) game, and therfore I treat it like that. There's also been plenty of word of a career mode. They've made it clear on several occasions that they are going to start work next version. And hey, it's an alpha. If you don't expect everything to break every update and are sad when your moon base goes, then you might have loaded up the wrong game. Anyway, there are at least 8 weeks between updates, which is plrenty of time to set up a super awesome mission to land on everything.
  8. Granted. Now your toes are. I wish that LeonG17 possessed no irration upon his body.
  9. Granted, but, like the N1, it explodes when you try to use it. I wish Estonia was called Estland in English.
  10. No, hold on, my mirror was broken. I've got the spare one and I see the life now. There's 5 bipedal organisms with two limbs, and they seem to be wearing spacesuits. Oh [REDACTED], they're in our ship
  11. Granted, now it was released 57 years ago and is hence based off outdated ideas with a massive heap of anti-USSRism to boot. I wish that Estonia was called Estland
  12. Travel at high speed, have a lot of parts, use physics warp
  13. They may be moral, but who says that their morals would affect us? I have no qualms about killing something 1000 times less intelligent than I, so why should Type 3 civilisations?
  14. If you want a symbol for the Sun, try this: EDIT: Also, I've designed a way to encode words into a symbol, so if you want to know more, tell me.
  15. What if you got two space station components that were connected but not docked? One would have be in stronger gravity than the other, so over time it would stabilise if I am correct. Gravity gradient torque or something like that.
  16. Get a Project Orion NPP and when you are near your target, detonate the entire fuel tank.
  17. If you find a way to break conservation of mass, you can speak against it. Right now, every observation ever made by any scientist anywhere has been at least consistent with the second law of thermodynamics, otherwise it would have been revised.
  18. You should submit your findings to SQUAD and demand they fix their solar system!
  19. To whomever written killjoy next to the Virgin Galactic goes bankrupt, ha ha, very funny, don't do it again Thanks! I've merged the ones in the same year into one year box to avoid page stretching and redundant year boxes and stuff.
  20. Can you take it from an angle where we can see the flag, rather than a black square?
  21. It's changed until it's evenly distributed around the universe, so no work can be got from it (second law of thermodynamics). Not destroyed, just changed so that it's unusable.
  22. Thanks, I'm downloading KSP .20 right now and this will be helpful for my collection of over 300 little pixel flags. On an unrelated note, does anyone know how to do a mass resize of images that are, for arguments sake, 17x9 pixel flags? For this example, lets just say there's about 300 of them.
  23. If there's no life left to observe the universe, can you really say it still exists?
  24. And in that meantime, that white dwarf will become the single most valuable location in the universe.
