  1. Granted. However, bananas are not mammals, so you get an empty cup. I wish for a full cup.
  2. That is allowed. I also gain five points for using the daily colour of red.
  3. That is allowed. I gain five points, for I am writing in purple.
  4. Basically, in this game everyone gets to decide what the rules are. Not through democracy or anything silly like that, but through plain disorganised rule chaos. How does this work without descending into a meaningless thread? What happens is Player A posts an action, a statement, or whatever that they do. The next player states in their post whether or not that is allowed, then posts their action or statement. If something was allowed once, it is always allowed until someone is allowed to say that is not allowed. The first person to 100 points wins. Example Gameplay A: I grant myself one point. B: That is not allowed. I grant myself one point through posting this image. C: That is allowed. I grant myself one point. D: That is not allowed. I grant myself one point through posting this image. A: That is allowed. And so on. Feel free to create complex webs of precedents in order to lead people to be forced to let you grant yourself 100 points. With my uncreative example done, I now start. I grant myself one point.
  5. The challenge isn't to outsmart the person who sets the challenge by looking for loopholes. The challenge is to do the challenge.
  6. Nope, but you can wink suggestively at interestingness and mouth "over there".
  7. I have adapted Duran Duran's song "This is Planet Earth" to be more apt for Kerbal ears. Here it is: Only came outside to watch the parts fall with debris I heard you making rockets fly Like some new Kerbal calculating delta-v You'll see I'm right some other time Look now, look all around, there's no fuel left Voices, another sound, can you hear me now? This is the moon Laythe you're looking at the moon Laythe Io Callisto Europa this is the moon Laythe My helmet's stuck between two tanks Let me know if you're coming down to land Are there any craft out there trying rendezvous? My eyes are so cloudy I can't see Jool Look now, look all around, there's no fuel left Voices, another sound, can you hear me now This is the moon Laythe you're looking at the moon Laythe Io Callisto Europa this is the moon Laythe Io Callisto Europa calling the moon Laythe Io Callisto Europa looking at the moon Laythe Io Callisto Europa this is the moon Laythe
  8. Kerbals are also bad at building rulers, so when they measure their own heights they're off by a factor of 10.
  9. Because Kerbals use a different unit of measurement to us. The Kermetre is equal to 10-11 metres, hence the confusion over units of measurement.
  10. This is especially funny/flawed on the part of the moderators because of the State Atheism of many real-world governments.
  11. I found it really hard to contain my happiness when the KCP Foundation entered.
  12. And... a round of applause for the second person on this thread to ignore literally everything and latch onto the buzzword "DLC". DLC is not universally bad, and there are no physical laws that show that it must only be made for completed games. Also the fact that this isn't even DLC, so there's that as well. Practically every part of your post is flawed.
  13. If we're advertising our RPs, I'm making the Kerbal Great Game. We still need two more nations.
  14. Just do whatever Venus does to not lose its atmosphere.
  15. Oh crap, people remember about this! I did pretty much give up on it, but development will probably restart today. I'm not allowed to use the names and sprites of the Kerbal planets (grumble grumble copyright grumble grumble moving to Sealand), but the solar system is based off the Kerbal one. For example, here's totally-not-Kerbin next to totally-not-the-Mun and totally-not-Minmus: EDIT: And that concept art looks glorious. What do you envision the different buttons doing? EDIT2: I have some pretty cool ideas for this game that would necessitate basically a full rewrite. They basically involve an earlier starting TL and different factions on totally-not-Kerbin, as well as more fine planet management. EDIT3: Disregard edit 2. The original was a better idea. Also I fixed some mouseover bug with the Sun, so that should work better now. EDIT4: The game will now detect double clicks. This is an important step towards having a build menu show up for planets.
  16. Before Spaceflight, After Spaceflight, After Warp Travel, Post-Kerbal Era?
  17. I once drawn some aerostat aliens on Eve that mainly lived up in the sky floating around in search of mates and prey, I might reddraw them tomorrow.
  18. You might have saw the old Kerbal Great Game thread (it was linked to in my signature), where I was talking about making a Kerbal Great Game. I've came here with great news: thanks entirely to the leadership of Randomness5555 (seriously, thank him), gameplay is beginning over at the website. Since the gameplay involves controlling a nation on the surface of Kerbin, obviously actual gameplay will occur at the website. Feel free to ask questions about the format, Great Game, and how much you disagree with the militarisation of KSP here, though. Links Website: Webite Forum: Forum Nation Spreadsheet: KGG Nation Sheet
  19. With the money from steel sales I was able to rebuy the farm and then some. Crisis averted, I'm putting some free food on the Kerbal market to celebrate.
  20. SPOILER ALERT That bit at the end where the dragon swoops down and picks up Mark Watney was totally unexpected.
  21. I demolished one of my farms and constructed barracks. That leaves me with 21 days of food left, which may be less as I build up my army. Just an alert in case this war stretches on longer than expected.
  22. Holo

    Pixelarts!

Docked a new module and moved the Kerbalnaut over.
