This is awesome! I will be flying airplanes, and live streaming unclassified missions whenever possible. IMO how we run the missions depends on how many people are interested on participating, if we have enough it would be great to split between rockets and airplanes, this also helps so that no one lays around doing nothing.

Well, I cannot run another full tournament with jets or biplanes myself, but as I mentioned before, I would be glad to set everything up if someone is willing to do it. From balancing engines to rules and everything, just call. Running the battles is not super time consuming, and that is basically the only thing there would be to do, the only problem is having a computer powerful enough to run them at a decent framerate, but that is not a huge problem since the unity upgrade either. So yeah, I really hope someone is up to running such tournaments. I will add the playlists to the OP, thanks for the reminder. Also, new battle coming out today! (given I don't forget to upload it again :P) -

That does not matter, Baha is aware that the mod is not updated and has his own reasons to not have done it already, "trying to speed it up" will not make it update faster, while still being against the forum rules. 2.3f) Messages that repeat inquiries about updates or content from modders. This also means that reporting issues is pointless, as the mod is not even meant to work with the latest version, and any problem you have is almost certainly caused by that. The license of the mod allows you to fork the source code and port it yourself, if you are not interested on doing that all you have to do is wait (and if you port it remember to follow the add-on posting rules when sharing it). -

Everybody, this mod was not yet updated to 1.1.2, and is not compatible with it. Requesting updates is against the forums rules. Just sit down and wait until Baha decides to update it. -

Launch and return to the SPH and the graphs may show the right data again, in flight you probably won't have any issues and it should behave like it behaved before. This is what I do when the graph does not match how the airplane should be behaving.- 14,073 replies

@NavyFish It's a new experimental behavior for piloting airplanes, it's still unfinished but has a better time piloting heavy airplanes and airplanes going extremely fast. It tends to make your craft roll less, and use the rudder to make turns, but it's far from being robust, so be careful when using that and make sure your error is low before switching back to normal mode, since normal mode is much more aggressive it can throw quite a punch at your craft at high speeds. -

@Van Disaster interesting fact about your grandpa. Really nice. But I just want to reinforce that the way I run the battles is not up to discussion, and won't ever be, and if BAD-T starts stressing me out because of that I will shut it down. That is not the purpose of the tournament, I want to see which craft is the best and that is what I will do, the idea is not to simulate a ww2 battleground. I will always ensure both crafts have fair battle conditions and that the outcome of the battle is minimally affected by the battle setup, how I do that is not of anyone's business, mainly as I won't post "rules" or "guidelines" whatsoever, since that would possibly lead to people complaining that something was not strictly followed when they lost and other nonsense. Just let me do my job So, again, of anyone thinks there was something wrong with any battle simply pm me with a good report and I will listen. About jets, sorry I can't put those in. Too complicated to balance against piston fighters, too much stuff to consider. It's possible, however, that we see more than one type of airplane on a team if tests show that the setup is worth it, but no promises. -

@crashsolo36 Nah, that is not going to happen unfortunately. WW2 is much more interesting for this kind of tournament, it also allows more people to participate, and requires finer tweaking of the designs. Lol I mentioned about my schedule a few times, don't worry. We are all anxious about the Round 3, which will start soon, but I won't upload multiple battles at once anymore. The battles will be also the best of five rather than three, because good crafts may be closer in terms of performance and luck cannot be a factor. -

Já ouvi diversos reports de crashes mas nenhuma solução, infelizmente. Se você tem menos de 4gb de ram ou não usa muitos mods tente usar a versão x86, talvez ajude. Se usa mods pode ser algum que não atualizou, a 1.1 prévia é diferente da 1.1 que é diferente da 1.1.1 e da 1.1.2, um mod pode estar quebrado se foi feito pra 1.1 mas rodar na 1.1.2, etc.

Wobble is caused by a parameter that I undertweaked, I should have made stock control surfaces much faster. I will fix it soon enough, if you want you can grab the previous version of MAF on Curse. -

Well, after my own airplane I would bet at @OmegaForce's SkyRebal, it turns really well and even managed to win against Kite, which turned more than it, because it turned more efficiently. So, whoever wins battle 27 is my fav. But @Van Disaster's clipping Kerbal is never going to be legal, that is no cockpit The one who made the closed cockpit was @Pds314, with Yellow Moth. Now, to everyone who made it to Round 3 (except BotDrew, damn BotDrew, go home already!), congratulations for going this far, we had really powerful and capable airplanes on this version of BAD-T, and despite the lack of proper guidance on how to build your airplanes, you managed to get yours among the best. -
