Ideas for the New Secret Feature in 0.25!
randomness5555 replied to Lhathron the Elf's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Well- Gas planet two would be funny. You don't expect to go out to your eeloo lander and find it's moved a few million miles along with the planet it's on, which is also now in orbit around something else. Or the Eeloo gysers-flinging kerbals around anyone? While I don't really think either of those will be the new feature,it would certainly be funny. -

What to do once you've completed the tech tree?

Try some of the challenges on the forum, IN campain mode. Limited funds could make some quite a lot harder -

Well this is going to be...interesting. Looking forward to this, mark my words -
Ok, so I recently tried out the fith version of B9 (the full release version). It was installed on a clean copy of ksp 0.24 (32 bit). I also installed Mechjeb 2 and Active texture reduction (Stable Aggressive). After a lengthy startup (so active texture reduction definately worked) the game seemed to be working fine. I created a new save and headed over to the hanger to build a spaceplane. Then the problem arose. As you probably know, B9 5 reduced the amount of parts by letting you switch between different versions. However, every single switchable part was bugged. The parts had all of the varients loaded at the same time and the textures were bugging out like when two parts clip. In addition, I could not switch between the part varients either-the option simply wasn't there apon right clicking. Does anybody have any idea what I could do to fix this, or what is wrong? EDIT: Using the wrong version of ksp-I wasn't quite up to date enough. Should be fixed now, you can delete the thread.

Okay, so one-what's LGBT freindly?... Second, I'd love to show up-but not for about a week (getting a new comp that can run MC at non god-awfull speeds in about that time). Thirdly-as (aparently) you are in new york, you'll have to have be on early or late, because I'm over in little old england-so my timezone is a little bit out. -
Pics please-It'll help to work out what's going on

Ooh, music, now this doesn't get much discussion. For my favs, anything from the RWBY series and most of the music from sonic 3/sonic and knuckles would have to be up there.

G'day - new intrepid explorer reporting for adventure
randomness5555 replied to HorusKol's topic in Welcome Aboard
Good luck! Shouldn't be too hard to find adventures around here, play kerbal long enough and something will break and turn into one on it's own -
Yay! Sattelite cannon is coming to KSP! Yugioh crossover (Quick thought-you're going to need to extend the physics range if you want to shoot at things on the ground)

Ideas eh? Well I definately agree that camo would be nice. The metal is kind of strange looking. For new things-RAILGUN. Not like a videogame railgun-parts for one of the big german WWII railguns (but as there are no railway tracks in kerbal, maybe some big wheels to go with.) Also, AA guns (like the ones you got on halftraks or battleships with four barrels at a high angle).

the most stupid challnge ever
randomness5555 replied to raze121212's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Oh, but wait. There IS a way to do this happily in real time. Does anyone here know of the old star trek enterprise mod? That could happily make a 25K D/V manouver in about 2 minuites. If there is a ship that could do this in decent real time, it would be that ship. But I agree-the challenge is terrible. -
Oh you have to be.... Wish I'd known that earlier.

Too much thrust eh? I tried making an engine with (insert number that I can't remember, but there were a lot of 9's in it here) way back when the game was simple enough for me to mod. Same thing happened. I'm not a modder-but I reccomend having a look at the Jump drive plugin-it (almost) does pretty much what you asked for. At the very least-that should give you some ideas

Reapers Dutch Designs
randomness5555 replied to soulreaver1981's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Pssst! It's Reapers Dutch Designs THreads! You missed the H! On an more helpfull note- I like your work, especially the tank and the stealth bomber look-alike transport. I think I might have seen the TurboKat-have you shown that one off before? Also, for the modded crafts, it's probably a good idea if you tell us what mods we actually need -
Recovering...? And the Jebediah maneuver!!!
randomness5555 replied to Makolic's topic in KSP1 Discussion
You aren't the first to do this-even i've tried it (but ran out of mono-prop and resorted to the debug menu)-but you are the first one to give it a name. And yes, the Jebadiah manouver is a cool name for it. -
For the twin swords flag how about: Kerralstran A relatively new country formed for and run by a space program who's great idea is to one day colonise the Mun. Or minmus-most of them arent picky. They will fiercely defend their borders from militaries and politicians alike-hence the swords. They will almost never enter into any political dealings with other countries (the only major exception being the launches from the ksc), and don't trust foreign rocket components-which has lead to mixed results with their space program, as while they are skilled at creating potent fuels and drives, their electronic components are notoriously unreliable.
