  1. Sweet! I've seen someone dock with another plane in mid area, but I think you might be the first for a flying carrier. Good work sir, keep it up! (Also, he said what keeps it up if you look at the description for the buggy-some carefully controlled glitchyness combined with sas to keep the carrier stable)
  2. Press Z to max throttle, press T for SAS, hit Activate Ascent Guidance on mechjeb making steps 1 and 2 pointless yet still do it every time, open the delta V display on mechjeb then hit space to take off. At this point, realise a critical missing component (A way of generating power, enough SAS/fins to actually steer the craft ect) and revert to VAB. Repeat until I get it right.

  4. Nice mod you've got here, but I do have a request. Could you put a description of each rocket in the description section for the editor-I feel it would help explain what each one is designed to do. Apart from that, great mod, and enjoying using it.
  5. I've had the shrinking bug, but I don't think it was when I was using the VA. Could be a common plugin that kosmos uses

  7. Usually you can double click on the name text above the craft-that will target it. Otherwise you can go to the map view, find the other craft and hit select as target. If neither method works you may be experiencing some kind of fairly major bug (can't help you there)
  8. Glad to see this mod back, but I have a question. How ARE you meant to assemble the VA system? I thought I had it down, but then realised that there were a few parts I hadn't used. A link to a vid, a pic or a craft file would be greatly appreciated. (BTW, it really IS great to see this back)

  10. Hey Kyrian-having a few problems here. I've tried to set a good time in the bug, but persistant trails seems to not be working right. I hit start recording and it creates a new track-fine-but once I finish the race and hit stop recording, it just deletes it. ??!?!? Any advice would be great. (Also, as it turns out, the bug IS pretty stable...until you push it past 22m/s. Then things become fun )
  11. If someone does make the endurance, I challenge them to make a ranger shuttle, the cargo shuttle and one of those big boxy robots as well. And who knows, maybe even use planet factory and make the three planets as well.
  12. I seem to remember landing the now very old HOPE shuttle in the water safely by landing straight down and firing engines, but that was rocket propelled so I don't know if that counts.
  13. Ironically it's actually more stable than the last one XD All the weight is at the bottom-the big fuselage only weighs 0.1 tons but the chassis weighs about 2.1, so it's not too bad. Do we know what a kerbal weighs?
  14. Hello again Kyrian! The BWI are signing up again for the second year's race-and it looks like we got here first...somehow. Anyway, without further ado here's our car for the season: This little fellow is the BWI 'Bug' and it's totally not a re-purposed mun rover... actually, it isn't. It just started to look like one halfway through building so I slapped on the satellite dish to complete the look. It weighs 2.3 tons, so even minus the weight of the whole RCS tank it's still over the minimum weight. And the two RCS thrusters on the back. Well that about does it-let me know if I broke any rules (I seem to remember that happening a lot when building the racer for the first one) as soon as possible so I can fix them.

  17. I'll say but this. Squad never said that any parts they make are permenant-so as much as you might dislike the change (atm-I don't know what I think-I havn't updated yet but will as soon as I get home) this was always a possibility, and at least they let you know in advance. Personally, I look forward to any new parts usually.
  18. I'm not too worried either way. I believe it's happening-what would anyone gain from pretending it was even if it wasn't? If it's going at full speed still, well, I'm looking forward to it. Either England gets snow all year (which would be awesome) or finally gets warmer, depending on who's theory is right. If it's slowing down, then I don't have to worry at all, at least for now.
  19. Texture replacer would allow you to re-texture a kerbal, buthow you would make it look anime is beyond me
  20. There is a mod called Kopernicus (I think) being worked on that will replace Planet factory-but it's not done yet
  21. Hang on-seven planets? I only see two... Pics of those would be apreciated
