  1. You are actually right on the less gravity being more fun. It's easier to right your lander if it falls over and easier to land as it's at a lower speed. I wish you the best of luck, maybe you could put some pictures up once you are done?
  2. Volcanoes, gysers and cave systems-all of which should be extremely common. Exploring would be so much better if the planets had more to explore, and travaling around caves could be epic. Also, Weather like one of the earlier posts said-lightning storms, dust storms, rain and so on.
  3. Wasn't someone actually working on some crawler parts? I think one you could control would be more fun... though launch clamps would be tricky to work out.
  4. Even proven spacecraft will spontaniously explode sometimes. Oh, and test things more thoroughly.
  5. Gems...umm...How about Emyrald? It could be another planet with plant life on it (like kerbin) and of course, green (maybe green water too?)
  6. Also while this is nice, I think it's probably under the wrong thread.
  7. Seriously, THAT IS COOL. How do the anti-grav's work? My spidey sense says invisible frictionless wheels, but is this true, or do they actually cause the vessel to float?
  8. For carreer mode, Mechjeb, DM orbital science and Universal storage. I probably couldn't get very far at all without them. For sandbox, Mechjeb (I can do most of the stuff manually, but mechjeb is better at it than me), Near Future Propulsion (all parts-I presume it only counts as one mod) and the mini shuttle pack (BEST space shuttle ever created in kerbal. Even I can work this thing.)
  9. Sorry, 60m/s is fast? Am I the only one here that's seen the landblaster? 120m/s+, look it up on youtube Also, tempting to enter this, even if it IS going to take ages
  10. Is it possible...I couldn't say. I have no idea how you would check for something like that without carbon dating (or whatever equivalent you use for a sun) How would this work in PF? Replacing Jool with another sun?
  11. And actual sabre engines (or at least called sabre's) in the B9 modpack
  12. Quick question-does this work with kerbin city? Seems a waste to not use that as well
  13. I'm basically done with exams now (one left, but that ain't a problem) so sure I could help! Just let me know what you need me to do.
  14. Ha, dude-Rocky and Bullwinkle reference AND that most short of all footballers, Peabody as well? Nice.
  15. Squad. Make DLC? I don't buy it. Sorry, but I simply don't think they would do that-they said we will get updates for free and I think we will. If they release paid DLC, it will only massively anger maybe 90% of it's players (Most definately including me) due to the fact we would have to pay more for a game we thought we had bought. If they are thinking straight (And they seem to be thinking a lot more than many game-makers at the moment) they'll keep updating for free as usual.
  16. Cool idea...Hrmm... Quick question-can you steer the kerbals around when using parachutes attatched like that? I think this might be worth having a go though, pics later once I've tried
  17. No way human exploration's ending. Most likely it's just put off for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a munbase (damnit kerbal) MOONBASE by the end of the centuary, and once we have a space elevator, space exploration will be far easier/more common. Like I just said-how do we raise the money? SPACE ELEVATOR. OK, so that won't raise money, but it sure will put the cost of building a mars ship down a heck of a lot.
  18. That's...actually an awsome idea! I won't have much use for it-my aircraft don't flip, they either land flat, break up on impact with the ground or land at the wrong angle and roll.
  19. Pic's are currently broken-fix them and I'll have a look EDIT: Thanks! Thistle is a very interesting looking planet-but could we have screenshots of the surface and of the other two planets please?
  20. Oh my... I seriously thought that home had died forever... turns out it's grown even better. Nice work sir!
  21. Probably throw up due to the wierdness of 0-G. Then, look down at the earth and have a panic attack due to my fear of heights.
  22. What a ball of antimatter 2.5 meteres wide? You'd shatter the continent you (were) standing on
