  1. He's working on Luna 17 ramp
  2. Well chap, most people are fine with having one soyuz (I myself just deleted TMA parts...), and are much more interested in the "moon race"
  3. Its official! So MrTheBull, just start every rocket and make it a simple cylinder, 1 week later (at most) someone will start working on a proper version!
  4. Id rather call him a poor b... I mean balancing, or even helping to balance a rocket is so ridicoulesly difficult I'd stay as far away from it as possible
  5. aye, overall, it would be cool if you could create on your own your starting solar system (say having relief presets together with color and size presets, and then you modify the atmosphere as you like)
  6. 64% original size (don't ask me why...it's supposedly done cause of the anatomy of a kerbal and a human, but It's not entirely correct...and it should vary from one size to another for every capsule...I think Normak calculated the Apollo capsule would have to be 90% scale to accomodate 3 kerbals, and not 64%... something like that...but it was all a long time ago...scaling in KSP, aswell as delta-v balancing, is a *****)
  7. yeah why would you use a shuttle if you have a buran, anyway...
  8. err...Kosmos Spacecraft Design Bureau?
  9. Ugh...I'd prefer all versions, tbh, except the MOK (no really, MOK is plain bad and fugly)
  10. I'd say you should add into that all those new fancy R7 derivatives ala 2.1v... A good idea would also be, for career mode, historical satellites (*cough* elektron, foton, proton, molniya, zenit... *cough*) EDIT:just realized this might be moving in the wrong direction...he knew BobCat is making his own LOK and continued doing his one...and honestly, I'd say it's gr8 to have 2 different ones, because even if its wasted time on one side, and even if MrTheBulls interiors arent exactly as detailed as those BobCat did, it's still great stuff and I hope he might do, at some point, the whole N series of rockets (cause yeah, N11 and N111...you need only 1 or 2 modified stages, and if you aint lazy you can make other launch vechicles from that...like GR-1 and R-9 ICBM...also the various hydrogen fueled rocket stages of the N1 would be interesting...and I wont even talk about the Superraket LoL!)
  11. well the docking version mentioned in encyclopedia astronautica multiple times... " In the forward hemisphere a cupola was installed, allowing the cosmonaut a direct forward view in order to make a manual visual docking with the LK lunar lander." Mentioned both in the 1961 as in the 1964+ versions.
  12. Aye... but we wont pursue the "spacewalk" version, rather the docking one...and like that it brings with itself a lot of interior changes compared to ordinary soyuz...
  13. 404 not found...again...tell me...that wasnt on the site I posted a while ago with renders of the N1?or? andegraf something
  14. Not Found The requested URL /N1_D.htmIt was not found on this server. Found some pics on the site by googling however...will give them to MrTheBull now
  15. Yup, very nice...just curious...did the real one REALLY REALLY had LOX/LH2 as fuel? (I know that only a mockup flew)
  16. what/who is Cmdr? and what is Hadfield? anyway...that N1 picture...we have a new wallpaper lol
  17. thats what I thought chap...In fact, I know that pretty well, that is why I said we already have them...the new PPTS (did I read your cyrillic stuff correctly?) is completely out of the timeline, if we have N1 and Vostok here...its like 50 years younger then all other components...so I think we should 1st round up the 50-70s era and then go for new stuff
  18. Whats the point if there is already LOK-LK, not to mention the Sodruzhetstvo being very very generic...? I, personally, don't like that idea.
  19. Yep, found the N111 there too. Still not precise enough tho. If you need to change so much stuff on Blok V (from 4 to TWELVE engines if we trust astronautix), you do need some more precise parameters on the performance...cause all astronatuix has is enough for a guesstimation, not to actually model such a rocket. EDIT:googled NK-19... seems reasonably cheap for so much info http://www.astro.gla.ac.uk/~hugh/techdetl/C_RocketEngRussia.html maybe I'll find something somewhere else tho
  20. Was just reading some more on this...it's indeed possible to create N11 and rather easily. N11 would use a GR-1 1st stage as an upper stage, so if you make a proper GR-1, you only have to make stage 1 (reusable in N11) and 3 (which is a molniya 4th stage...use is kinda obvious, then), the 2nd one already exists...Soyuz Blok I(!) For N111 I didnt find enough data...
  21. Not quiet, LK, and Soyuz, yeah, thats true...but about the R7... http://www.astronautix.com/graphics/n/n319622.jpg http://www.astronautix.com/graphics/n/n2.gif (Dunno what MrTheBull thinks about this..will talk about it with him on Skype when he's online.
  22. Hm...time to mess with angular drag and braking force/torque?
  23. N1, it was a lot heavier then the Soyuz could lift...maybe it could be lifted by a Soyuz 2-3 tho.
